Defining “Republican Party” to include prominent Lefties, of course.

Wow, this is off-message.

The DNC:

“The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists – the Taliban and Hamas this morning – in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize,” DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO.

Meet some terrorist lot thrower-inners.

Glenn Greenwald:

there are simply no meaningful “peace” accomplishment in his record — at least not yet — and there’s plenty of the opposite. That’s what makes this Prize so painfully and self-evidently ludicrous.

Peter Beinart:

I like Barack Obama as much as the next liberal, but this is a farce. He’s done nothing to deserve the prize.

Ezra Klein:

How long till the Nobel Committee just gives up the ghost and names “you!” the winner of the peace prize?

Lot of people discovered this morning that they’ve suddenly been made Republicans now, is all I’m saying.

With what the Nobel Peace Prize has become, I think he’s earned this. He’s already made the world a much more dangerous place and he’s certainly an America hater. Those are the only 2 requirements that I can see. And he’s in great company.

Government cannot be the solution when government is the problem.

amazing how that happens (nt)

Wait, what are these "terrorists" Brad Woodhouse speaks of?

I thought that word was excised from the language under this new enlightened administration!

“I just miss — I miss being anonymous.” — Barack Obama

I fully sympathize, Mr. President. I miss you being anonymous too.

If we could poll the Taliban, do you think they would prefer BHO or GBW?

Something tells me Gallup wouldn’t publish the results of that poll. Or, maybe they would, but the NYT, MSNBC and all would spin it as Obama “bringing the world together”.

I’m a banned Democrat who came here to promote the idea that Republicans are racists for disliking Barack Obama.

Going with Ezra Klein

I’d love to see it go like a Publisher’s Clearing House Prize van. You can apply for your own Nobel prize and buy some magazines while you’re at it and wait for the Prize Patrol. It would carry the same amount of prestige it has today… Zilch.

Isn't this the same precedent who. . .

Sided with Ahmadinejad and cut off funding to an Iranian human rights group?
Said the Taliban were part of the Afghan government?
Screwed Hondurans by supporting the aspirations of a wanna-be dictator?
