This would be a laughable gift if it wasn’t so serious. Obama aligns himself with a third world dictator who violated Honduran law and their constitution; which is probably underlies one of the more stable democracies in Latin America. Then he aligns himself further with every communist dictator in the destructive OAS. He keeps the lid on Zelaya sneaking back into the country, increasing the chance for conflict. He squeezes their foreign aid and tries to make Honduras defy their constitution under the guise of negotiation. Truly a fascinating view of democratic process.

Given this recitation, we are all shocked Zelaya is now bringing the JOOS into it. I suppose next will be the wealthy landowners, bourgeoisies, turn coat yankees and aliens. Stick with your boy to the end, Barry and witcheepoo.

Unfortunately, Frances Robles of the Miami Herald has been called out on the quote that everyone is getting up in arms about. In fact, a week before the ADL statement came out, Ms. Robles was asked to produce the full quote from President Zelaya that she used for her story.

She claimed she “didn’t have the time” to find the full quote. She DID have time to do something else, except what she didn’t count on was that the reader asking her to produce the quote had contacts with the Brazilian Embassy in Honduras. After she was asked to provide the full quote, Ms. Robles quietly got back in touch with Zelaya’s staff, hoping that they would confirm the outrageous claim for her. Not only would they not confirm that Zelaya said something he didn’t, they also leaked her e-mails and these got back to the person requesting the quote. Oops!

The real story here is Ms Robles’ intentional sensationalizing of what President Zelaya said and now it has spiraled out of control.

So, before everyone starts judging President Zelaya, you should first understand that the quote in question was mostly likely not said and we should all be asking the Miami Herald why they are using anti-Semitism in this way — and also why they have such poor standards for their journalists, like Frances Robles.
