Although he likes Republican ideals on domestic issues. Also note: he didn’t add the ‘socialism’ bit; that was whoever-it-was that sent the thing viral. Also: dislikes Obama, cool with socialism, and thinks that the original ‘Hope’ artist is two-faced.
Stories like this are why I love this country. We are simply too big and too majestic to be fettered by any requirement of a narrative that makes coherent sense.

This is the smartest thing you have written in the 3+ years I have been reading this site.
I am a moby (third party/trying to incite prejudice against Muslims edition) who burned my account to try to push back on the New Black Panther voter intimidation case:

Aziz Poonawalla, read your site, Why are you here?
DONTREADONME (Diary) Monday, August 17th at 11:53PM EST (link)Sorry Moe, I am threadjacking here. But I have absolutely no idea why this comment is here, it does not even seem to fit.
“The perfect is the enemy of the good, and the public option wasn’t perfect by any means. It’s time to let it go and use this to the advantage of strong, robust reform and regulation of the industry”
Regulation of the industry can only cause further turmoil and cost? Everytime a bureacracy is set up the costs associated with that bureacracy team with expenses. So in the satisfaction your desire for regulation of a free market based market which is insurance can only served to bring about the means of the end of its utility, that is the single payer option of which I believe you seek. Regulation, Regulation, and more regulation only serves to feed the beast that is Government.
“Republicans are genuinely afraid of what an open market and honest competition might mean.”
The conservative does not fear the open market or competitiion we embrace we fear the bloated government that inteferes in the natural powers of supply and demand. Case and point… Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Housing demand was fueled by artificial demand and when the supply exceeded the demand the market collapsed, Case and point Cash for Clunkers is creating an artificial demand which companies will create a supply for to meet and in the end we will be left with the same problem an oversupply of vehicles that no one wants.
I could go on for days with the one step logic on your website City of Brass, but then again this is Redstate if you have forgotten.
BTW, death panels = end-of-life counseling and when the government says which procedures are paid for and who can get them it is rationing. But then again thanks for playing Aziz.
kowalski to aziz, watchin Rachel Ma(n)ddow is your problem...
DONTREADONME (Diary) Tuesday, August 18th at 12:00AM EST (link)turn off MSNBC. that is half of the problems with your commentary on your website. Remember, nothing is a one-step process.

Is the 'socialism is cool' a developing theme?
techsan (Diary) Monday, August 17th at 11:28PM EST (link)Check out how the linked article ends…
(emphasis mine)
I’m hearing the “we’re better socialists” theme more and more. It’s disturbing to say the least.
In the end, all we have on our side of the debate are facts and history.
Oh no! It's not a gun toting bible clinger.
davo119 Monday, August 17th at 11:46PM EST (link)I guess we won’t hear any more breathless reporting on this story.

Other recent examples of profiling of conservatives...
SoFiMil (Diary) Monday, August 17th at 11:53PM EST (link)The artist is quite the character. I especially liked his work of Napoleon on a motorcycle. This amusing story reminds me of other recent profiling of conservatives.
The Obama as Hitler protester? Turns out to be a (black) Democrat.

The racist white president of the Valley Swim Club that denied access to African American children? Turns out to be a huge Obama supporter.

The racist neighbor of Professor Gates who said: “There’s a black man trying to break into a house!” Turns out she never said anything of the kind. http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/07/27/gates.arrest/
The liberal hoard’s automatic assumption of a racist white police officer in the heart of liberal Cambridge? Again, turns out to be anything but.

WarEagle01 (Diary) Tuesday, August 18th at 8:16AM EST (link)and his followers are racists.
I mean, yes I was aware that Democrats had founded the Ku Klux Klan and were down with Jim Crow and Segregation. And, of course all those meanies from the Civil Rights era like Wallace, Connor, Maddox, etc were Democrats. But portraying the president in white face? That’s just beyond the pale. Klucker Democrats.
