The policewoman showed a lot of moral courage in repudiating a President that 95% of her race voted for (including her) in support of the white cop not to mention calling out the Governor, who I believe would be in her chain of command.

The focus group results must be in and the consensus must be with the police, so now the distort and demonize attack plan goes into effect.

Note that many of the articles continue misstate the actual facts that are easily available on video or audio tape and backed up by witnesses. Note too that none of those who think Gates was the object of racial profiling were witnesses to the facts.

For instance:

Lie: A white woman called 911 and reported that two black men were trying to break in to a home.

Truth: An Hispanic woman made the 911 call and made no mention of the race or ethnicity of two men.

As for trolling comments on blogs, lucky for the hate mongers, so many of them are “between jobs” so they have plenty of time to carry out orders from Rahm/Obama et al.

At first I assumed that the beer stunt would be a PR win for Obama – but now I’m not so sure.

Is Gates such an obnoxious whackjob that he won’t back down at all?

Crowley strikes me as an man of integrity who is cool under pressure. His support seems to be growing exponentially.

Is it possible that he refuses to admit to something that he didn’t do and the whole thing collapses in full view of the media?

On the positive side, maybe every union will turn on Obama to get some more dough.

No variation is allowed or even thinkable in the liberal standard line. This is both totally perplexing and as Moe astutely points out, maddening to the chronically ill left. Dissent or for that matter, divergence. is not supposed to happen, the indelible mark of people whose sanity and willingness to observe a minimum civility always hangs by a slim, frazzled thread.
Forget liberal blacks on this, much of the anger is from whites who demand that their fellow white Americans be branded as racists, just another way of expressing their hatred. They’ve been deprived of their fun but there is always next time.

Is it my imagination or did the CNN reporter seem a little disconcerted with the policewoman’s response about the president? Almost a little flinch. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I think he would have liked Not to have had that on national t.v. The trouble is the MSM is still in the pocket of Obama.

to the growing list of everyday folks who Obama has dissed. Hmmm, let’s see:
Sgt Crowley, Joe the plumber, the reporter on the FL TV station who asked about Obama’s socialism, Obama’s grandmother, Gerald Walpin, Fred Wiederhold, and the list goes on. Gee, I hope I don’t ever inadvertently cross paths with an Obama favorite.

And what if this had just been your average Joe policeman? What if he had not been the training expert against racial profiling? What if he hadn’t been a long time member of the force? What if he hadn’t developed many friendships (black or white) in the department? Worse yet, what if he had had some innocent, but non-racial, personal beef with a black officer? The guy would have been hung out to dry with no recourse. Remember Richard Jewel, RIP.

And yeah, the reporter was way surprised that Sgt Crowley expressed genuine emotion for the policewoman who stood up for him. He is much better at body language than the CNN guy (“nod your head if…”) who then asked a redundant and stupid question. (Loy Dobbs, call your office.)

And as for Sgt Cowley’s friend and collegue, the black policewoman —- GOOD ON HER. It gives me hope for “post-racial” race relations yet…
