But unfortunately you are dealing with an electorate in Scranton/WB that vote Democrat, no matter how big a crook he/she is. Look at the situation Luzerne County (WB is county seat) is in with their corruption. The people in the district know the Kanjorski is a sleaze ball, but vote for a Republican? Wouldn’t be caught dead doing that!

Top it off, Kanjorksi brought in the Scranton big guns – Bill & Hillary. The idiots in the Scranton area are hopelessly infatuated with the Clintons. I don’t get it, but these people treat them like Massachusetts treats the Kennedys.

Lou Barletta was the first small town mayor to go after the illegals that have taken over Hazleton. One of the things he tried to do was fine landlords that rented to illegals. The ACLU came in and took it to court. An activist judge in Scranton ruled against Barletta, and once again the ACLU was successful in their dirty deeds. Most likely, more than a few of those illegal Hispanics voted for Kanjorski.

I’ve read that Barletta may run against Kanjorski again. This time Obama won’t be on the ticket, and Barletta may have a good shot at it.
