Living in Teague's district, I can't begin to tell you how angry people are at him. I went to a recent townhall meeting (right after the House vote) and it wasn't a pretty sight. If you're interested, rather than repeating everything, my blog is http://ladonnaspage.blogspot.com. Figure it would be easier to just let you read what I have already written.

This man needs to go.

I never really liked Pearce, however, I have been to several events that he was involved in and I can honestly say he loves this country. Granted, he does have a few "issues" to resolve, but I would much rather have him than Teague. Pearce is organizing a new program (I don't know if it's nationwide or just statewide) to try and bring in the young voters. It involves teaching the younger group the history of our country and the principles it was founded on.

I fear him less than I do Teague. Teague is an oil man - nuff said.

...it'd look like he was already the Representative, especially since he was until he gave up the seat to run for Senator.

This is *one* issue.

From everything else I've heard Pearce is about as conservative as you can get in NM.

I'd certainly rather have him then some Dem.

I don't think this breed exists. These folks vote moderate only when corruptocrats don't need their vote...

Thanks for bringing this up. Will shell out something next week.
