Why on earth are they this suicidal???? And determined to take us down with them?

I just don’t get it… I don’t see how these people even make to the office, they are just that disfunctional and warped… They need to go play in traffiice or something….

HR 2454 plans for massive (pg 958) employment as a result of the provisions of the bill and plans for those newly unemployed to be unable to find jobs for three years (pg 973). It also plans for the resultant unemployment and decreased wages having adverse effects on the Social Security and Medicare trust funds, but they will prop up the trust funds to the levels they would have been without HR 2454 (Pgs 1026-7).

They know darn well that HR 2454 will decimate our economy. This bill must be stopped.

Just think of all the stuff people won’t be able to buy, further draining our economy. Toss in the loss of the mortgage tax credit and a tax on your healthcare benefits, and it is closer to $350 a month in additional household expense. The only way to get people to understand what they are facing is by drilling what it is actually going to cost them into their heads. I personally don’t want to be paying $350 more per month to knock the D’s out on their heads.

Language in the bill transfers the billions in US carbon taxes collected to the UN after 2025.

So much for that tax break for 95% of all Americans??

It might be worth the extra expense to see the democrats in Congress get voted out in droves and thus making Obama the impotent ruler after Nov 4, 2010.

He is a great candidate that even makes Cornyn seem mushy at times.

I know many ask here about donating for this or that candidate and Micheal definitely deserves that same attenttion.

I served in the railroad commission under grandma streyhorn. if williams was the commish, i’d probably still be there.

If you’re wondering what to tell your congressperson, here are some points* to bring up. The energy tax would:

Reduce aggregate gross domestic product (GDP) by $9.6 trillion
Destroy an average of 1-3 million jobs, every year
Raise electricity rates 90 percent after adjusting for inflation
Raise inflation-adjusted gasoline prices by 74 percent
Raise residential natural gas prices by 55 percent
Raise an average family’s annual energy bill by $1,500 annually
Increase the federal debt by 26 percent, which is $29,150 per person
