In her “explanation” of the firing, Melinda Hennenberger intoned that she detested the Playboy article, but her motivation was to rid her new kingdom of the stench of hoi polloi bloggers, intimating that their journalistic standards were subpar.

Now that’s a hoot, considering the cheering section that the MSM has become for left-liberalism, and the fact suppression that seems to occur instinctively with them.

Now Tommy is, alas, a devotee of the incumbent president. But he’s a good writer and while his interpretation of facts can be questioned (to put it mildly), his reportage of facts is sound.

The real problem here is that the Hennenberger school is just another effort by the good old boy/girl clique from the J-schools and the MSM alumni network to diss the blogosphere, thus enhancing the power of their cartel.

No way should we go along with it!

You can call customer service and give them your information, the refund will be given on whatever payment method was provided. So if it was cc your BIL would see a refund on his cc, check they would issue a check.

That got Rush into trouble. What he said of her was nothing compared to the Playboy list. But it became a racial slur immediately, because that’s the only remaining card in the Dem’s deck. Play the race card. Did it work? Play it again.

And why is NOW silent? Rhetorical question. The Feminists washed their hands of such women. Not that long ago, didn’t one of them say conservative women had given up their ovaries. Or didn’t deserve them in the first place. Something mean and spiteful like that. Something that led directly to this latest travesty.

I look at Tommy Christopher being fired as a feature not a bug in this whole story. The way I see it is that AOL is losing whatever modicum of credibility had and we might very well take down this Henneberger goof in the process, AND a smarmy little twit like Christopher is unemployed.

This is simply good news all the way around.

that I have also bought Playboy in the past (for the same reason), this is just foul. There is a point where freedom of the press runs afoul of general public safety. This is the proverbial “screaming fire in a crowded theater.” Playboy should be fully investigated for this conduct, and taken off the shelves. There is no excuse for a public rape list. Imagine the outrage if they had said the same thing about liberal women!
