The challenge/experiment, to again make a point…

Pretend for a moment you are an Ultra-Liberal Newspaper reporter/editor or CNN/MSNBC segment producer (whatever) and review that Transcript! With me so far? No, imagine, of course, your GOAL is NOT TO REPORT what was said/meant by Romney (or any Republican/Conservative from /in ANY discussion – think perhaps editing a Palin/Couric interview for airing [that give you the hint?!?!]) and see what words you will/would PICK OUT to make the STORY/SPIN about Republican in-fighting, or semi-positive spin for SoSo, etc….

I think that may finally drive home the thought/point I think some of us miss OR JUST AT TIMES FORGET (again, I AM GUILTY of it at times) and then allow ourselves to be suckered into these arguments!!!!

Now… Speaking only for myself, to make a point…. I’ll first make an admission…. I sometimes hear/see only the MSM spun snippet out of context of what someone “supposedly” meant (they want us to thing: “SAID IN TOTAL”) that I forget it is NOT always (in fact, often NOT) the case…. They PLAY US!!!! And “I” sometimes fall for it and go on with the Republican/Conservative in-fighting….. Hope others will recognize/realize, admit it, and hope that ‘WE ALL” can/will do better to remind ourselves of it in the future before we jump on our fellow Conservatives/Republicans….

As I’d admitted elsewhere… I have to give NEWT a break.. I fell for the twist and know that NEWT is criticizing the ObamAgenda – So, What does Obama NOT want you paying attention to? even though he isn’t going as far as the: How Obama’s FAILURES are the country’s SUCCESSES – since we have to spell it out as “I” do and would prefer him to.

I think those that conclude she is a racist from this comment and the Ricci case are justified. I guess I would phrase it that the burden of proof is on her to refute it..

Certainly her words nearly are verbatim the classic superiority definition of racist and certainly by the left’s definitions against Trent Lott, et al, she is a racist.

The best thing that advances the argument in this matter is that whenever ordinary Americans hear the quote, Soto loses ground, given the gross nature of the words.

Let’s stay mad but focused on the right targets for venting that frustration…..

I saw the whole interview… I saw David Gregory after having set up the interview with a frame of SoSo’s Racist comments they are working on dismissing….. Now, I have been through Journalism and TV Production (in front of camera, behind the camera, working sound boards, most importantly THE EDITTING ROOM! – I could chop that interview up to be whatever direction I want the audience to feel)…. I’ve been on Campaign and in these things, thought I did okay, only to find they caught me with leading me to say just one sentence – and that becomes the distortion!!! That is what has to be remembered as we go on with this discussion. Raw/Live interviews are on thing, then those get chopped up and the “sound-bites” sent off to CNN, MSNBC, NBC, the newspapers get transcripts…. and they pick and choose the least words that they can twist into the biggest LIE….

David Gregory kept pressing to insure he comes away with, and all the other MSM outlets will pick up on, a snippet that they can take out of context to fit that Republican infighting narrative….. Sessions clearly and specifically (within the U.S. Senate “let’s be overly courteous” tone BS they dance around, yes sometimes is like listening to Shakespeare) that there are things to be “concerned” about including that one continually repeated RACIST comment – but what you will get is some BS like “Sessions says he would not use those words” (which they will twist to mean he thinks she is NOT Racist, not what he said!) when being badgered by David Gregory about “well Rush said” … “but then so and so said … Bigot” and you get that money quote to be taken out of context “I would not use those words” …. DO NOT LET THEM PLAY YOU/US…. The Republican Leadership IS criticising, to the extent they can before official hearings, let us give them a break and some time…..

In the mean-time… let US continue to harp on all the points they can eventually acknowledge unconstrained by the niceties of the Senate rules…..

SoSo is a Racist, Sexist, Class-ist (as well as Class-less and Clueless), and is as Radical as the Radical-In-Chief in the WH and that is exactly why she has been picked BEHIND THE HISPANIC SMOKE SCREEN DIVERSION…. All of this is open/fair game and we can/should keep harping on it – not about how our Leaders haven’t said these things “exactly” like we’d like them to. And let us keep flooding their offices with calls that they MUST return the Filibuster favor and use it!!!!!!!!!!

We need to be MAD AS HELL and not gonna take it anymore… but it has to be at the MSM for trying to DUPE US INTO A DISTRACTION NARRATIVE!!!!! Mad as Hell enough to keep calling our Representatives and DEMAND they Challenge by any and all means necessary or they will NOT get re-election support!!!

But I’m hesitant to throw the bigot label around. It’s a weak way to further an argument whether it comes from the left or the right.
