You’re right.

Many incumbent Republicans especially the incumbent don’t have the moral compass when it comes to “fiscal responsibility”. They should be replaced ASAP by real fiscally conservative Republicans.

Moe: I’m glad they knocked down another increase in Illinois … but it was Republican Governor Ogilvie that committed political suicide in an election year to pass the original 2 1/2 percent Illinois income tax.

YES! They will all campaign on how they will “make it up” later with even more pathetic spending once (read: IF) they squeak by the next Elections. And really, any cuts they “make” won’t be cuts because they’ll find excuses to “re-direct” any Federal funds to make up any “holes”.
