So by that logic, these college kids were “asking for it” by having a loud, fun party which naturally attracted two of society’s “less fortunate” and forced them to attempt robbery, rape and murder.

I’d like to see how those 1,500 murder victims from last year feel about gun control. Of course, most of them are probably from liberal demographics (poor, uneducated, etc), so perhaps they would favor giving their killers stern talkings-to. But the data is the data. Are the two most important rights in the Constitution. The ability to control resources and defend those resources and one’s personal body are the only real source of power.

All of the other “rights” that the Left likes to talk about mean nothing without the power to actually defend those rights.
