…if you look at the comments in that diary it’s pretty clear a sizable segment of Dailykos was troubled about the lack of analysis on the Collins/pandemic prevention funding “discussion.” It had turned into an adolescent, fact-free attempt at blunt-force meme-making. Some other folks found that dumb, too. So it’s not like I was saying what I was saying on an island. The Nation article was so shoddy it was sure to inspire critiques.

Anyway, once Michelle Malkin has called me sane, what more could happen? Mostly I wonder how in the world Michelle Malkin found it. And, honestly, how it happened that I seemed to be the first person to make some of those points anywhere. Being quoted by Malkin is at least an interesting thing to have happened, and I’m not averse to whatever you’d call publicity/recognition in such an anonymous media as blogging. Ego!

Wow. There is actually one sane person at the Daily Kos. Probably won’t be there for long, but give this person credit for pointing out that the left-wing attacks on Republicans over flu pandemic funding are utterly ridiculous. The money they are shrieking about was included in a different bill passed by the Senate — and in fact, was funding requested by George W. Bush

I wrote that diary last night. I am that "sane" person. Banner day...

Had to be cut, only big pork for funding ACORN allowed. Litte porky things for saving American lives needs to be cut.
