OK, so I spent about 2.5 minutes scanning their site to see what the beef was. Banks are evil, capitalism sucks, etc. What I did notice however is something about their planned protests that has kinda bothered me about the Tea Parties. To wit, their planned protests are all supposed to take place in front of banks, investment companies, a large insurance company, and a few in front of local governemnt offices. I suspect their 200 person demonstrations will garner quite a bit of media attention due primarily to the locations. In other words, they are planning to put the protests ‘in their faces’. Meanwhile, the Tea Parties are following the rules and assembing in parks and other designated areas. I’m not advocating large-scale civil disobedience (yet), and will wait to see the impact our actions may have before passing judgement, but the very notion of seeking permits for protest rallies seems surreal.
About three years ago, there were large May day rallies in cities across America in support of illegal immigration. How many of those ‘rallies’ had the proper permits? Since I was travelling across the country that day, I recall the anxiety that those ‘rallies’ would snarl cities. Even though the impact was less than anticipated, the issue got plenty of attention because the threat was percieved, not ‘permitted’.

The Captain has been rescued safely. It is a true Easter Miracle.

This is an opportunity for Obama to present his more humble side. A statement that “Commander(X) was in charge at the scene. He had permission to act as he saw necessary. The men aboard the Bainbridge and Captain Phillips deserve all the credit” would go a long way towards humanizing the Obama.
