It’s a darned shame that America fell for this whole sham. Obama doesn’t even bother to use Clintonian finesse and word-parsing to cover himself. He knows his mind-numbed robotic supporters aren’t, like, so very much into details, you know, uh, and the media is still in his pocket playing pool.

This was Axelrod’s dream, which he tried the first time around with Edwards: pick an inexperienced but eloquent speaker, have him address issues with professorial tone and high-flown rhetoric (full of sound and fury, signifying nothing), and count on the public-school-educated electorate to be too shallow to see his lack of depth.

Well, that brings the Emperor down to size. Of course, his apostles won’t believe the Youtube video above even if it was shown to them (“Must have been doctored by those satanic right-wingers!”), and we always knew it to be so. However, to have such a clear, unequivocal “No I won’t use them” on video certainly helps to build our archive arsenal for the future. Great post.

and great catch by Hot Air. Hypocrisy is the problem here. One can be in favor or opposed to signing statements, but it shows the vast differences between Senator Barack Obama candidate for President v. President Obama. They seem like two different people they say two different things. So much for Change.
