Aww: Buckley the Lesser feels bad about how they booed Bush.

Buckley the Lesser can... stay right where he is.

No, I will not link directly to the man – I suggest that you go to the Daily Beast main page via this article by Richard Cohen on the endlessly funny Kennedy-Paterson New York meltdown, or even this one by Tucker Carlson, and go look it up there – but I will tell you that he apparently “winced” at the way that his fellow Obama supporters urinated on the Inauguration ceremony by booing the former President. Let’s just get this out of the way: to every Obama supporter feeling similar “discomfort”?

Sit down, make yourself comfortable, and have a nice cup of Shut The Heck Up*. Your embarrassing comrades-in-Obama booed and taunted former President Bush because they were carefully taught over the last eight years to do so. You taught them to do this – or, in the case of Buckley the Lesser and his ilk, you joined the company, gratefully, of those that taught them to do this. And your “remorse” is a contemptuously empty gesture until such time as you back it with actions that would prevent such things from happening in the future. Which you will, of course, not do: after all, some day there will be another Republican in the White House.

Much more simply: the people who booed were at least honest in their hatred. You are not.

And we can tell. Quite easily, in fact.

Bush

I have a lot of problems with Bush and how he squandered the Republican majority we once had. However, after seeing Obama and his cronies in action, I miss Bush. I never thought I would say it, but I miss George W. Bush. Under Obama our nation will feel the wrath of God on a nation which murders its own, its babies in abortion. We talk of other righs, but where do those rights come in if there is no life? How stupid can we be. I remind myself of the words of John Adams, our Second President: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” And, we wonder why things are so bad? They can only get worse with what we have done to the freedoms given to us by God in the establishment of this nation. And, people can laugh about it, but there will be a day when they weep and wail instead, and then I wonder how all their hautiness with feel to them.

I agree. Thank you!

William Buckley is turning in his grave

Christopher is obviously very conflicted. It seems that he once liked and believed in McCain, but like so many of us, he got really really disillusioned by him. He, like so many of Obama’s supporters doesn’t give him much credit for anything, but probably wanted to get attention, as he knows that he can never walk in his fathers shoes. Supporting Obama got him at least a little attention. Negative attention for him is better than no attention. It seems he only behaved as a son of a true Conservative while his father was alive so he could continue to collect his “allowance.” I look at it that Bill Buckley wrote a line just for Christopher, maybe knowing it would come back to haunt Christopher, after Bill’s death-

“I won’t insult your intelligence by suggesting that you really believe what you just said.”

Sheeshh…

Man ought to understand this from the beginning…

“If you lay down with dogs… you get up with fleas.”

He made his bed… let him lay in it.

When it said in the first article,

“Kennedy showed herself to be, as far as politics is concerned, a natural born voter”.
it struck a cord.
The part “as far as politics is concerned, a natural born voter”, is an interesting statement.
Could it be this is what most of our Congressmen and Senators are?

They say Republicans are for the rich, Democrats are for the poor.
If they need more voters,
then they have to make more of who they are for.

We are there in the various Tea Party groups, leaderless, but not rudderless.
We steer always toward the Constitutional principles this nation was founded upon.

I’ll be remembering that.
