They honeymooned there and were consistent visitors through the years. They can’t believe the change in those 40 years.

I love visiting Vermont too and have entertained thoughts about moving there, but I would be even more out of my element politically than I am in PA.

My family and I left the Episcopal Church several years ago over this – as an evangelical, I could no longer respect a religious entity that was so in opposition to biblical truths. It’s too bad our religious leaders are so divisive – I don’t remember anyone ever complaining about Billy Graham!

used to be such a nice place to live. We have now become North Massachusetts.

I was married in the Church of The Good Shepherd, an Episcopal church in Nashua, NH. It saddens me to see what has happened to the church. There is only a fraction of the people who used to attend and Robinson is a total “in your face” jerk. Keep praying they will find their way and return to the fold.

“Bishop” Robinson has completely divided the Episcopal church because of his choice to live in a filthy relationship. Pastor Warren on the other hand echoes the views on homosexual marriage of the vast majority of Americans, regardless of religion, geography, race or gender. Now, who is divisive? I will wait for the media to tell me.

Gee, and all this time I thought that “post-partisan” meant going beyond partisanship. Looks like it really means “post” as in a wide receiver running a “post” pattern, like going for a touchdown for partisanship.

Just shows what small, petty men O’ (and Bishop Robinson) are. I guess if you see Hamas as someone to “talk” to, then where in the world could you EVER perceive a threat?

The “Give him a quiet heart, for our Ship of State needs a steady, calm captain for these times, not a fierce warrior who knee-jerk reacts to every real or perceived threat.” line is apparently not part of the inaugural prayer at the time the article was written.

The linked story says that the prayer was posted at Bishop Robinson’s diocesan website and will NOT be used at the inaugural.

So not a cheap shot during the actual inaugural, at least not yet.

I look at the way GWB is ending his term compared to the way the Clintons left in 2001. Class vs. crass. No smashed computers, first lady taking good that weren’t hers, etc. Dems have no class and even when totally in power, they still have to act childish.
