Tommy Christopher Resigns over Redstate Flap

Controversy erupted yesterday when RedState.com’s Erick Erickson took exception to The Political Machine writer Tommy Christopher’s thorough analysis of GOP reaction to the Chip Saltsman kerfuffle. The candidate for RNC chair may see his hopes for gaining that post scuttled by his gift of a CD containing songs like “Barack the Magic Negro” and “The Star Spanglish Banner.”

Sadly, that’s not the only casualty of this brouhaha. This morning, Tommy Christopher announced his resignation.

And then there’s this nugget of gold. The nerve of this guy:

Although there’s been no comment yet from RedState on the loss of their best writer, I did have a chance to speak with Mr. Christopher today.

Don’t even joke about that, you idiot. “Their best writer.” Nice to see you’ve maintained your humility after being laughed out of RS last night, twit. Yes, I know you were being sarcastic, and yes, I know that was your pithy little way of being funny. Ha ha. Aren’t you special.

But it gets better.

The comments section over there is hilarious. They make fun of Erick’s name, saying “since your name is not Tommy Thompson or Chris Christopher, RedState has accepted your resignation.”

Then they go on to call Republicans “commies” and “fascists,” backing those claims up with their usual amount of overwhelming proof: none.

And then there was the usual handful of racist comments about the song that started it all.

God, these people drive me insane.

We absolutely should be on the side of Israel. No conditions, disclaimers or editorials from the NYT should change that. Not that our soon to be fearless leader has ever had to draw a line in the sand before, but even I suspect that he will not leave Israel’s side.

Meaning?

Americans (especially the 52) gave Obama the mandate to shift his position from one principle into another. In the last election, Obama wore all kinds of hats (principles) just get the votes of the Americans. Sadly, many American voters find him….”convincing.”

Later, if MSM finally find a concrete way (i.e., fake evidence) to put all the blame to Israel and paint Hamas as the “poor victim”, we can all expect Obama to change his own statement/policy just to fit into the box specially made by the MSM for him.

In summary:

It’s non-ironic because Obama is man of “no principle” at all.

Obama is nothing but “MORE OF THE SAME”.
