How are you supposed to spread the wealth around when you aren’t even collecting taxes from your employees? Is there a “hope and change” loophole in the tax code?

I know I’m naive about political campaigns, and I’v learned more about them during this last election than in all the years I’ve been voting. But I wonder outloud why it is OK to PAY campaign workers.

It seems to me that it’s just a step away from paying someone to vote…which I assume is illegal….it is illegal isn’t it?

He has US$600 million campaign money, right? And he’s a good fiscal manager, right?

OTOH, why don’t these people consider their services to the Obamessiah as an investment. Surely Obama can pay them within 4 years as their president.

The person in charge of his office there should be ashamed. It’s the start of the month and rent is due. Some of the people may have been counting on that to pay their rent or electric.

Just tell the Obama campaign workers that he decided to spread the money to some of the McCain campaign workers. Once it’s put in those teams, I’m sure they will not object.
