I think the man missed his calling.

In our modern era of financial derivatives, it is NP-hard for an ordinary person to understand the complexity of (unregulated) free markets.

The result has been the market meltdown that is dominating this election.

When free markets become NP-hard to understand, the conservative moral foundation for believing in free markets is lost.

That is why conservative economists must “learn and adapt” (in Gen. Petraeus’ famous phrase) to modern economic realities.

Because a market that is technically free, but is too complicated for ordinary citizens to understand, has lost its foundation in conservative moral principles.

And the Republican Party must address these fundamental moral issues, or else, lose the support of all thoughtful conservatives.

It showed a white family being squeezed
by faultering economics, a black couple squeezed in their retirement by medical
expenses, a hispanic mother and her family working hard to make ends meet, and another
white couple that were third generation Ford plant workers being squeezed by layoffs
and work slowdowns.

Each of vignettes was intercut with a shot of BO talking about what he was
going to do that would help. You can see it on the small screen here. Don’t crash the site by rushing there all at once

You could see where was going with it.
I think it was meant to counter the often heard argument that “Obama doesn’t know who I
am”.

Oh wait.. you’re no doubt expecting the other way around… Some of the increased Federal Debt he’ll run up to be a Welfare check.

Wonderful job John… Making the points/jabs in jest like this is the best way to get through. Negative (in a sense) but delivered in a fun/positive way. I heard a few more lines (he had several) but I don’t recall them. Hope a Video becomes avail… HINT, HINT, FL FRIENDS!!!!

Also, I keep hearing the Obambam apologists trying to downplay the World Series time, as the game on that date was always going to start at 20:30… Yes, because the time from 20:00-20:30EST was bought and paid for long ago and going to be carried by FOX (regular Network affiliates) at that time. So, baseball ACCOMODATED for the Network coverage (YOU THINK THEY’D SAY NO AND PASS ON THE NETWORK REVENUE?!?!?), oh please. So, the Game, whatever Game, whether it be resuming Game 5 as it was or whether it had been Game 6 from Tampa Bay, it was going to start at 20:30 – BUT ONLY BECAUSE THE TIME WAS DICTATED BY NETWORK CHANGES, the other Games were at 20:00 EST. Subsequent Game times were all 20:00, look in your TV guide!!! For a group that says it wants to talk about the “ISSUES” they continue with the DISTRACTION POLITICS. Regardless of the WS time, it is a good fun line that is not substantive, yet they (Dem spokespeople) harp on it – Distort, distract, and cover for the Socialist in Centrist clothing.

Since they’ve been downplaying the Economy since long before it became the self-fulfilling prophecy into collapse, they should be SHARING MORE OF THAT CA$H!!
