McCain telegraphed that he was going Ayers, and Obama leaped with the Keating thing. Instead, he went inside with Fannie Mae.

McCain’s attack will be completely substantive and tied into the crisis and Obama’s foundational connections to it. Palin will be getting inside his head.

Mr. McCain I don’t want to ride down the elevator of hell to socialism. Today is bad and the only way it can better if you fight with all your fury like you did in Vietnam. You fought communism once – time to do it again.

The American people need to know about this and tomorrow is, for all intents and purposes, not withstanding one more debate, your last chance to bring it up.

Note that the moderator is just as likely to be in the tank for Obama as most of his colleagues, so he may not bring it up as a subject.

Don’t wait for it. Bring it up yourself and pound on Obama on it from now on till election day. Hit him as hard as you can as often as you can.

I think the campaign intentionally didn’t let her go negative prior to her debate. Otherwise, she’d be viewed in a much more critical light during the debate.

You have seen it repeated to great effect throughtout Macks run. He keeps flying for his life and keeps getting missle lock warnings buzzers. He flys his way out and comes up on the enemy’s 6. He puts a burst into him and disengages. Cat with a mouse. The kill must take place at the zenith of anticipation and attention or the ground observers will look around for more excitement. This process must be drawn out with the last act flown just like “Top Gun.”

Next steps:
1. Call for an investigation of Congressional critters who took lobbysist $$$ and/or were in bed with Fannie execs (I’m looking at you, Barney).
2. Demand an immediate reform of GSE practices, with a phased plan to make them extinct.
3. Launch an economic surge plan, clearly explaining his plan to freeze government spending, stimulate economic growth, and put the people (instead of Washington) back in charge of their financial future.

I just don’t see how this tactic works for Sen. McCain. McCain’s campaign adviser, Rick Davis has been on the payroll of the F&F advocacy group. This just appears as another desperation move by the campaign.

Also, claiming that individual employees of a corporation donating to a candidate is somehow an endorsement by the parent corporation is silly.

I want to know what happened to John McCain.

for 30 days there should be an unceasing barrage on his liberal policies, his friendships, his judgment, his failed economic theories.

hit him as hard as possible EVERY DAY in a speech- not just a written statement.

All people want to know is: What has this man ever actually accomplished in government?

Exactly! When Obama says that he wants to cut taxes for the middle class, McCain should respond that Obama has never proposed any tax cuts for the middle class while in Congress, but has voted for tax increases numerous times. We shouldn’t believe the rhetoric, but we should believe the record.

Same thing with regulation of Fannie and Freddie. Biden said in the debate that Obama warned of the looming crisis last year. Well, what did he do about it? Nothing. Obama’s rhetoric doesn’t match his record.

Obama says he works in bipartisan fashion. Well, when has he ever opposed his party on any significant issue and worked with the GOP? Not once! Obama’s rhetoric doesn’t match his record.

This is a perfect strategy. McCain let radio shows like Rush, Hannity, etc keep the stories alive for these past few months. Had he done this too soon…it would have faded much like the Rev. Wright story has. Going at this now is wise. it gives it a good shelf life in the mainstream until Election day. Had McCain listened to the pundits…the Rezko, Ayers, etc links would have died on the vine before it could have impact on the Election. Also, wise move on Michigan. I doubt they have really left. But by pubicizing the “exit”, it brings awareness to the Michigan voters that they need to get out & vote McCain.

That Sen. McCain finally comes out swinging like his [political] life depends on it.

I’ve currently been “sharing” anything and everything that highlights the truth about Obama in Google Reader. Hopefully that’ll reach a few people who would otherwise only hear what the MSM allows them to hear.

I appreciate JM FINALLY addressing this. I am beyond FUMING about the complete joke this election has become. From what I can tell from local talk radio programs in Ohio, people want a positive plan to re-invigorate businesses and eliminate excessive taxation on individuals and businesses: this outdoes Rev. Wright, Ayers, etc.

Although those concerns are present, obviously McCain needs to do handle both messages. It should not be a choice of “going negative” or “staying positive.”

BOTH are necessary, and should be present in ads: negative at the beginning, a positive alternative at the end.

And I will repeat: Where are the ads where McCain speaks calmly and directly to the audience/camera???

Apparently McCain has already made this speech somewhere today. I just heard a small clip on Hannity about the Chicago Politician thing.

Just saw McCain on Fox delivering this speech. From the crowd’s reaction, you could tell they knew exactly what he was talking about. I’m lovin’ it. Should be an interesting debate tomorrow.

The McCain campaign should put together and post a video that shows the C-span clips of Greenspan’s warning, McCain on the Senate floor, and the dems opposition in the hearings – ignoring the warnings of the regulators. Add in clips of Obama saying that sub-prime mortgages were a good idea “in theory”. During the debate, McCain can say “don’t just take my word for it – check out the video”.

…but probably too late…at least if McCain actually campaigns like he means in the final month, it’ll help launch (not that she hasn’t done it herself already) Palin ’12 even if they can’t pull of the comeback this election (well, if Obama and Congress and the SC haven’t figured out a way to keep from having elections again by 2012)…

I was really starting to wonder if McCain actually still wanted the job…nice to see he does.

1. Obama is “Risky”- We don’t want to compound the risks to our economy by taking a “flyer” on someone that has no real record of accomplishment, so little is known about, and has not given details of what he will do. Risk is a word people have a real emotional reaction to.

2. Make the Bush tax cuts permanent- McCain needs to defend his support for this(it is the right thing to do). He needs to quit letting Obama beat him around the head with Bush when Bush has been right about some things. Force Obama the Liar to explain how he is going to give a tax cut to 95% of the people when over 50% already don’t pay taxes. Are we going to just transfer wealth from one group to another? I don’t think Americans generally agree with that. McCain can say, “I want to make the tax cuts permanent because I am a tax cutter. And, guess what? I am going to cut spending, too. I am going to rein in Washington, so get ready! And no $50B global poverty funds under a McCain administration!”

I am so glad the gloves are finally off. It is time to shine the light on Obama’s dismal positions.

McCain depended on his media friends to vet both opponents – now it is time for him to do their job.

People are going out of their way to tell us it’s bad somehow he’s doing this. That’s how we know this is good.

You can’t tell me this wasn’t orchestrated, and I don’t normally believe in conspiracy theories.

McCain should step up to the plate because if Congress had listened, we would not be where we are today.

Finally, I do not believe all these polls are accurate. Once I saw the Florida Quinnipiac breakdown Oct. 1, I realized the problem with polls (a greater than 11 pt. variance in a traditionally Republican area giving Obama a 4 pt. lead? Give me a break).And it worries me that Obama supporters are being set up by Mainstream Media to assume this will be a landslide for Obama when I do not believe it will.

I approve of this strategy, but it will only work if he can generate actual anger. Think O’Reilly going off on Barney Frank. The American people are full of rage and anger right now, and if he reflects that, they will respond to him. If he sounds like he is reading his lines off of a teleprompter, it will fall flat.

“Obama is a skunk,” the timing needed to be perfect. Sarah’s poking around Obama’s eye-socket at rallies this weekend forced The One (picture cyclops) to dredge around for a comeback. That Keating is all they had is instructive.

Once I heard “Keating” I knew we had him in the rope-a-dope.

Any semi-conscious adult knows that McCain has Obama beat in integrity, trustworthiness, character, etc.

It was always absolutely necessary to tie the “no character” “no accomplishments” facts to a strong issue. There just hadn’t been one before the financial crisis. The war controversy had faded due to the success of the surge.

We on the right already know The One’s plans are worthless, and much worse, dangerous. The economically clueless wouldn’t get that no matter what the ticket did. Now that McCain/Palin are really out hammering on why The One is not to be trusted to fix the problems, people will notice that there was no there, there all along.

I was getting pretty depressed. Sarah was an astounding political move but then they kept her in the closet. Then the Crisis and McCain went back to Washington. But then nothing happened. I hoped it was because he saw there was nothing to be done at the moment so he was passive while the main perpitrators covered their collective a$$es and put together yet another pork laden wast of time and money. All the while the MSM was completely worthless in reporting the truth. Now the situation is so obvious the SNL and Alec Baldwin (I never thought I’d agree with him) are pointing out the source of the problem.
If the Fannie/Freddie housing/mortgage fiasco really comes to light this could completely reverse the liberal domination of politics in America. I really hope Jack Bauer is on the case.

Time is running out and all you guys have is trying to play a guilt by association game to try to distract the public. I think that the American people care more about real issues like the economy than the past associations of Senator Barack Obama. And if you want to talk about past associations how about John McCain with the Keating 5, or John Singla who was involved in the Iran Contra scandal.
Then you have Governor Palin who’s husband was either a part of or hung around the Alaskan separatist movement. Or Sarah Palin’s former pastor who went on witch hunts.

See we can play this game to, but really the American people wont be distracted by another Bush/Cheney/Rove smear campaign, not when this country is in turmoil. You know deep down that John McCain is dead in the water especially after pulling out of Michigan, and are realizing that Senator Obama will be our next President.

Say it McCain–make him admit his opposition to the surge was wrong. Make him defend opposition to more regulation of Freddie and Fannie.

Say: “Your position on __ was wrong, will you admit your mistake?”
On and on, all night. If he wants to crow about his judgment, then show how judgment and wisdom are not exclusive–and if he can’t admit a mistake, he has no wisdom. just guesses.

We here, who have been keeping up the past two years with Obama, know his true face. Unfortunately, the normal person does not know this information, which is vital to get out. We really won’t see Obama’s true evil self unless he is elected. If the McCain campaign does it’s job, then they will carry the white house. He pals around with William Ayers, the founder of the Weather Underground, a radical group that was responsible for extensive bombings during the Vietnam era, and today he is allowed to practice politics…only in a truely free country can this happen. Let Obama get into office, and all that will disappear. The liberal radio stations and TV stations will disappear, and free speech itself will be threatened.
Obama’s bad decisions and lie’s have caught up with him, and now it’s time to face the music. His real estate dealing with Tony Rezko is well known, and could a deal like that ever be made for a normal person like you or me? Of course not, it’s illegal. Obama thinks he is above the law, and can get away with anything. His Association with Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour is now known, but many don’t know that he is the primary secretary to Prince Alwaleed of Saudia Arabia, where the 19 9/11 hijackers were from. Prince Alwaleed has given money to Khalid to give to Obama, and that is a direct connection. Now Obama owes money to Prince Alwaleed of Saudia Arabia, and what a great time now for the Prince of Saudia Arabia to ask for a return on his investment. Obama is obligated to repay this man, in any way he can. He will compromise this country to pay back the prince, and that we cannot allow. Why put Obama in such a high place that could ultimately bring us down, or allow the terrorists to survive. If Obama gets into office, I predict that at the end of 4 years, not only will Al queida be thriving, but Osama bin Laden will be friends with Barack Heussein Obama, not openly of course. Of course they won’t be friends openly, but Obama will still be out there, surviving and thriving, and encouraging others to destroy America. At least McCain will defeat the terrorists, or bring them to their knees.
Obama is a closed book to the people of the United States, and he must be exposed, so people can see him as we do. If they knew of him the way we do, no one would vote for him. He is as radical as his pastor Jerimiah Wright, and as militaristic as the black panthers and Louis Farrakahn. We cannot afford to let this happen, because America is already weak from this financial crisis that was perpetrated by the Democrats…
Oh yes, this Financial meltdown was perpetrated by the democrats, because they wanted the economy to be front and center, where they think their candidate can win, because of the lies that spew forth from his mouth. The devil has given him the gift of speech like king Midas, and everything he says, people fall over themselves to hear him, and they believe what he says. The democrats orchestrated this financial meltdown, because McCain was winning, and the only way they could win was to make something catastrophic happen. This financial meltdown was long in the making, and could have been avoided, but key congressional leaders of the democratic party made it know that the market was weak, and if they demanded their money, they would not be able to get their money out, and that is exactly what happened. If key members had not said a thing, then there would be no panic, no fear in the market. The market is always volitile, always a risk. If some insider lets out this kind of information, then the market will collapse…everyone who is anyone knows this, and those people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but they will get lost in the financial chaos of this meltdown. They will not be held accountable, just like all the other inquiries the government makes in situations like these. It is a farce, a travesty, a miscarriage of justice. These democrats will not be held accountable, and we, the taxpayers, will foot the bill while the rich grow richer. Is that the message that we want to send. Obama is very rich, and getting richer. McCain came from a military family, and had to work hard for his money. His wife is the real bread winner, and owns most of the houses that they have. It is not McCains fault that he married well, but Obama is all about greed, the lust for power, and he will do anything to acheive that goal. Obama is dangerous, has exercised bad judgement about everything, including the use of drugs in his late teenage to early adult years. Most of us face that decision, and we choose not to use drugs, but he had not the power to say no, and that same weakness exists in him today. The lure of easy money is too great for him to pass up, as it was from Prince Alwaleed, whom he now owes money. We as Americans should demand to see Obama’s donor’s, and where the bulk of his oversea’s donations have come from. McCain has listed all of his on his web site, but Obama refuses to let the American Public see where the donations from Oversea’s are coming from. Why? What is he afraid of? I will tell you. He is afraid that when the donations are looked at, they will be from Palestinians, Pakistani’s, and Syrians. Those who want the republicans out of power, those are where they are from, and the campaign’s are not allowed to accept donations from people who are not American Citizens. We have shown that Obama is a Liar, a cheat, uses bad judgement, and makes bad choices. Do you want that for our President.
McCain has value, he is a hero, he has earned the right to run for president, Obama has not. McCain has a lifetime of experience to apply to the Presidency, Obama does not. Do you want an unproven politician, who makes bad judgement and choices, to lead us into foreign policy at a time that is the most explosive in history? NO! We need a man who knows war, to avoid it, and how to avoid it. He will pull us out of Iraq, out of Afghanistan, and he will help us put Russia back in their place. The Russians lost the cold war, and now they want a second chance at glory. They must not be allowed to win. In a time when Oil and gas is the most expensive, you would think the United States would invest heavily in drilling along the coast, as well as in Alaska. We need to cash in on these prices, as people are understanding that we has seen the peak of oil production. Now that China has started using so much oil, the supply is now greater than the demand, so the price continues to go up. McCain will show us the way through to more drilling and to invest heavily in alternative fuels and technology’s. The sun puts out so much energy, we need to harnes that energy, as well as wind energy. We also need to take advantage of the tides, which can also turn turbines for power. Hydrogen power is the future…but we all know that eventually, all power will run out, even Nuclear power. Nuclear power is also the way forward, and will boost our electrical grid immensely, improving it. We also need to guard the nuclear silo’s from attack, which they have done a good job so far, but we still need to increase that guard presence.
We can see our way forward here in this election cycle, and it is with McCain, not Obama. Obama will lead to our downfall, McCain to our return to normality and status. Obama will rape our economy more that the democrats have already…this is worse than watergate, and the American public will never know the difference. It will be lost in the furvor of the financial collapse. It will not be known unless the republicans come back to power and expose it and hold those accountable. The American public demands it.

What Senator McCain also needs to do is connect more dots. Obama trained a group of radical activists called ACORN.

They would imtimate Bankers outside the buildings to force the banks to lower their mortgage standards. These loans (sub-prime)were then picked up by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, bundled into securities and sold to the market (Wall St).

These loans have spread thru out the world. The point is that Obama started the activists pushing for lower rates, later when he was in the congress he blocked the votes necessary to regulate Fannie And Freddie.

McCain has to speak louder and tell the people that it was NOT Bushes policies that caused the Wall St problem , but groups like ACORN and the Democratic Representives pushing the American Dream to people who could not afford it, defrauding poor minorities.

Every time I try to find a right-wing blog to try to broaden my reading, i run into crap like this.

The thing I noticed wasnt your perspective on Obama, which is the kind of alternative view that I am looking for when I read talk from the other side, the key thing was your criticizing anyone who would think otherwise as a “lurker”.

This is part of the race-baiting, us-vs-them crap that always turns me away. As if anyone who disagrees with you is illicitly browsing the site.

Now we have it, ladies and gentlemen...Rezko has spilt the campaign controbution milk, and the crap is about to hit the fan for the Democratic party and for Barack Obama. Here is a man who was intimately involved with the corruption of government, and now he is spilling the beans, and the people involved want to delay his sentencing "***indefinately"***, because they are afraid that what Rezko will say could sink Barack Obama, and they don't want that impacting what people think about Obama. Obama is a man without scruples, and he not only makes bad decisions, but bad judgements as well. He called his dealings with Rezko a "bonehead" move, only because he did not hide that transaction well enough the way he has with his other dealings.                                     The truth will come out, as it has a way of doing when Liars lie, and Obama is just sooo good at it, and it is what has made him such a believable politician. Everyone knows that politicians are crooks, but we hold them in such high regard because they run our country. The problem is not with this country, but those who get elected. Those who get elected come from money, are concerned with money, and are corrupted by money. It is no different with Obama, who was inspired by his Muslim father to get into politics and make lots of money...because people pay taxes, and the government controls the money. So Obama went to Harvard, and let money and people in power corrupt him. Prior to that, he has shown us that Drugs was the thing that corrupted and twisted him, and now it is money that is corrupting him.
Obama has shown that if it's not drugs corrupting him, it's money. If it is not money, it's power, and they walk hand in hand with each other. Through his years of fabricating and twisting the truth, he has learned the art of oration, and it flutters off of his tounge like gold, and unsuspecting people lap it up who don't know any better. As with King Midas, everything he touched turned to gold, so goes it with Obama, every ear that hears receives it as if it were gold...the law, or more notably, the TRUTH. Obama is so far from the truth that a rainbow could not lead it to him.
  The REZKO situation shows us that Obama cannot be trusted with simple real estate deals, let alone the running of a country. He has said that he did not know the views of his pastor, who was his friend and confidante, and who spent 20 years at that church...are we to believe that he did not know what the Pastor and the church were about? That, my friends, is Bull SH*T! He is a gifted liar, but the facts don't jive with what he says. The Dems orchestrated this financial Crisis, but Wall Street will cover that up to protect the body (congress) that protects them. Just as in the Kennedy Assasination investigation, they will ignore the obvious, and sell a lemon to the American People, and we will swallow it hook, line and sinker. What we should do is take the law into our own hands....when the government fails to work or just does not work, we have an obligation to make things right..which is why Militias are allowed to form. We have the right to bear arms and to free speech, but congress has a way of perverting the principles that this country was founded. I say we stop it now, before it swings so far left that we cannot stop it. Obama, however enticing that he makes himself seem, is not the answer. Americans are so desperately needing something different that they will seize upon the first thing that looks and sounds good to them. What better way than to choose someone who is 6% black, and speaks with words of gold??!! PLEASE! The American people are better than that, and they should see right through this pretender to the throne. Obama is not fit to lead, and cannot be trusted.
   McCain is the only one who has paid for his position in our government with blood. Obama has not, and would never see a battle unless it was filmed for him on the big screen by Hollywood. McCain has bled with the troops in battle and in captivity...he has experienced what few of us ever will, and he alone has earned the right through blood to run this country. Obama should feel ashamed at the way he has lied and run his campaign, but Obama is a man without honor, and therefore does not feel shame in what he does. McCain is a patriot, and did not want to vote for this $700 billion dollar abomination, but he had to because people would think that he was not serving their best interest..but he is, and he could have saved the taxpayers billions of dollars through not supporting it, and letting Wall Street dig out of their own mess, but because the democrats are hip deep in causing this crisis, they will help Wall Street clean it up while Wall Street executives get fat on their golden Parachutes, and the tax payer pays for them. Ridiculous.
      Obama is part of the problem of government, not the solution. He lied about his campaign of change, we know that that was a lie. He has lied about his church, he has lied about his friendship with william Ayers, a terrorist, who is a good friend of his (live in the same neighborhood, kids go to the same school), and he has formed a group called ACORN, which is a radical group that goes around harassing people about politics...they make people/banks change course, in short, they are very corrupt. Americans corrupting organizations, religious institutions, and networking. That is what I think it stand for (lol). All joking aside, they are very corrupt, and work to corrupt the system further. It is what the hitler youth did for the Nazi Party. It is not acceptable. People will see their way through this, but I pray that it is before the election, because we cannot afford a democratic congress and a democratic President. That in conjunction with the financial crisis would bring our great nation to her knees. The democrats caused this crash to happen now, rather than having it happen when the next president came to power...they leaked the information and caused the panic...we know that Wall Street is always a risk, and that if there was ever a run on the bank, they could never cover everything...people have known this now for a long time, but insiders are leaking the information, and they should be dealt with severely.
    This is worse than the WATERGATE scandel, because they have not only damaged our markets, but now world markets are collapsing. Do you think the truth behind what really happened will ever come out? Of course not, because our political system would collapse upon itself. Such corruption could not be ignored, it must be exposed and destroyed. But the democrats will never let the real culprets be brought to justice, for they are a part of the broken system. REZKO is but another indication of corruption that has siezed the Democratic party, and it gives weight to the other accusations leveled against Obama. Ayers (terrorist), Rezko (convicted political backer), Prince Alwaleed (obama money lender), Reverend Wright (racist pastor, anti semetic, preaches division), Michelle Obama (has not been proud of her country until now), Obama (has not covered his heart during pledge of allegiance, does not wear flag lapel pin, considers himself a World citizen, not an American citizen, and he is a closet Muslim), and the list goes on and on, and there is not enough room to list all the offenses. We have covered the basics, and that brings more than enough proof to convict him in a court of law. There is not reasonable doubt as the Democrats would have you believe, but we are not in a court of law, and one must use their common sense when viewing these charges. They are not fabricated, nor are they "swift boat" attacks...but the TRUTH, and the truth hurts Obama. Obama wants the white house, but not in the way that Most Presidents see it. He is a dangerous individual, and he must be stopped.
I pray that the American Public is smart enough to see that Obama is a liar, and cannot be trusted with the safety and security of this great Nation. Only McCain holds the keys to our future, and knows what it means to bleed for his country. Send a clear message to a failed congress, because it is they who have failed us, not just the President. Bush can only operate within the confines of the law, and has to work with congress. If they do not work with him, what can he or any President do? We need to Drill baby drill, and we need to invest in alternative energy and alternative fuel. If we do not do this, we are doomed, and the terrorists will win. Get off of foreign oil, generate new bio fuels, and turn to Nuclear and solar, wind and tide power to decrease the use of oil. We need to invest in battery technology and solar technology to get ourselves off of the oil teet of the people who hate us. Let's not give them more money to bomb us, but let's pull the rug out from under them, and drill our way out of this situation (as well as developing alternative energies and alternative fuels). If we let the democrats win, then we will default the war on terror to the terrorists, and then they will have truely won. Without a military man and foreign policy guru in the white house, we will be brought to our knees. In this time of increased need for our military, we have a need to increase military spending, developing newer and more powerful weapons, and any who oppose us will come to see the futility of attacking us. The way for us is forward, not backward with the democrats. McCain will bring us back into the world stage with honor, and Nations like Russia will learn the hard way to respect us once again. Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Pakistan are on the serious needs list to deal with in a manner that might require military intervention. Do we want someone who does not know about war to command troops in the field? No one can respect that, and he does not know what it takes to win, and we saw that with the surge. Obama thought it was a mistake, and would not work. He will continue to make bad decisions just like that, and we will lose in Afghanistan just like we did in Vietnam. The democrats are not military men, and they are use to losing, so they don't know what it takes to win, but McCain does. Get the word out on Obama: McCain is the way forward, Obama is the way to destruction of our moral way of life here in America.
