Sarah, if we’re going to win this election, forget the handlers, be yourself and nail them just like The Gipper would have!

Hannity and Rush are OPEN and UP FRONT about their bias. They are COMMENTATORS and ENTERTAINERS.

Ifill is a news reporter and is assumed to be impartial because of it. Her bias is hidden and SUBVERSIVE.

Compare Ifill to Shepard Smith to realize how dumb your comparison is.

So think of it like this, we listen to the debate on the radio while the rest of America watches the debate with the sounds all the way down and judging the debate by looks. Then after judging which candidate looked better seeks the 1st spin to support that judgement.

I think that is why Bob Dole lost the debate and Nixon lost to Kennedy why history is recording McCain lost the debate. So I think this is how America will look at the Palin debate.

In the essence of fairness to the debate process, I feel it is my duty as an American to ask that Ms. Gwen Ifill be removed from serving as moderator for the first and only vice presidential debate.

The release of Ms. Ifill’s new book supporting and praising Barack Obama creates a genuine conflict of interest in a debate of great importance to this country.

She could throw in NYT for a curveball, if she wants.

Instead, she gave a foolish non-answer. She was a journalism major! Asking her a question about her sources of news should be as easy as it gets.

That said, I think she’ll do fine in the debate, McCain’s campaign was very smart to limit the actual debate portion and get the format changed so that each candidate delivers talking points without any back and forth. Palin can handle that.

Frankly I don’t know how Ifill became a moderator, such an obvious conflict of interest (one wonders how long she hid this or if she even brought it up).

Now that they know, will the McCain camp DO anything about it? They don’t HAVE to show up, ya know. This would be a perfect opportunity for them to showcase the obvious bias in the drive-by media. The question is, do they have the guts to do it?

I get the feeling that an email to the debate commission is a waste of time. I plan to email McCain’s campaign.

I find it troubling that the debate commission did not disclose this information to the McCain campaign nor the public. This is negligence on the part of the committee.

The mainstream media has behaved in a such manner this election season that one might wonder if we are living in Stalin’s Russia or Mao’s China instead of the United States of America. This must stop now.

IMHO, Separation of Media and State is of a higher priority than Separation of Church and State.

I don’t want to know which sources the candidates prefer…it gives them too much spotlight and unwarranted “credibility.” (i.e., when BHO posted on Kos)

The best thing the McCain campaign could do right now is refuse to do this debate until she is replaced with someone who doesn’t have a financial stake in the election. I really don’t see how anyone could blame him for that.

Little Ms.Sarah, recently you were heard commenting on a subject that may or may not solve and, or deepen our economic and, or diplomatic malaise and, or stupor. How would you address the proposition that if so, why not?
