They don’t have us to have a base set up there in the same sense the English had their British empire etc etc etc (you should thank me for not using the word “oil”)
Obama didn’t vote against our troops. He didn’t join in because there was no timing for withdrawal on that bill.
HOWEVER. Mccain voted AGAINST HR 1591 which funded the troops BUT supported a withdrawal timetable as well.
See a trend here? I kinda would like to take a moment here to ask if we all could look at these ads and read the facts before we take them as gospel. I consider a portion of liberal advertising, much in the sense of this conservative attack ad, as partial or total bulls**t. Is Obama an evil monster? Is McCain an evil monster? No, they are just guys making decisions. But it’s so easy to turn our opponents into villains.
So please… spin spin spin the hell of out this all you want, but take it all with a grain of salt.
