Can We Change the Speaker of the House

From CNS News:
“Boehner Won’t Rule Out ‘Balanced Budget Amendment’ That Permits Unlimited Federal Spending”

Is there any way, other than elections, to remove the “Speaker of the House”.
Not necessarily from office. Just that position.

Mr. Boehner is showing the country that he is not conservative and has no real desire to fix any problems.
He is demonstrating that he is a ‘Good old boy’, lifer, politician that is more concerned with keeping the status quot for the operations of the ever expanding U.S. Government over the needs of the country.

I am just wondering. Can we take Mr. Boehner and Mr. Kantor and put them both at the bottom of the list?

The Speaker

I actually quite like Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Cantor as well. I’m quite happy with them in their positions and would not want to see them replaced. They are nothing like Tom Delay, who really was a horrible leader.

I've been waiting for this diary

For quite awhile now I’ve wondered how to change the current Republican ‘leadership’ in DC.
I think with Ryan and Demint or some other real conservatives this would be a whole new ballgame.
The right leaders are so key – it seems to me.
I would really like to know more about how they are picked – and how they could be removed and replaced.
Judging by the national vote of no-confidence in DC/Congress I don’t think i’m alone.
Boehner and McConnell can’t articulate true conservative positions like Demint, Rubio, Demint etc. They lose the publicity war over and over.
I really hope some of the old timers here will respond to this diary.

How can any real conservative be in favor of Boehner as speaker?

We’ve all seen how the federal deficit is bloated beyond comprehension, and the spending is out of control. Many programs and departments are spending more than 100% of past year’s annual budget. Our tendency is to blame Obama for the reckless spending on stupid and possibly illegal projects.

But the truth of the matter is that Obama’s spending has been authorized by Boehner and company. That includes huge increases in the budgets of the epa, nlrb, energy, commerce, etc, all of which are intended to great harm to this nation.

I find it incredible that anyone can believe that Boehner and the rest of the GOP leadership should not be removed.

I absolutely agree with comments two and three, however...

it still leaves the OP’s question of HOW. Anyone have any more insights there?
