Though not impossible, the likelihood of this is almost non-existent. My dear wife of 27 years, a registered nurse for 28 years and holding current certification in labor/delivery and women’s health says she has never seen this phenomenon. It is statistically possible for an adolescent male to contract prostate cancer also. It is so rare that the testing for the existence of Down’s Syndrome is recommended only for expectant mothers of >35 years of age.

As for the photos of Gov. Palin’s apparent lack of enlarged signs of pregnancy, this is common among the physically fit, like Palin. This is a comment from my wife who at 7 months gestation with our first child, went snow skiing with me. Both mother and child survived. (lol)

With breaking news of Palin’s daughter Bristol’s 5 month old pregnancy, this controversy is moot now. However, the possibility that the Palin’s adopted a special needs child and decided to shield that child from knowledge of his origin until an appropriate time of their choosing would of course be spoiled for all time for the sake of selfish scooping.

I can’t read everything, but I haven’t as yet seen or heard comments about Obama’s children beyond “they were cute.”
