Examples include Fannie/Freddie, the largest banks, GM, and every other corporation whose shares are partially owned by the U.S. government and therefore the public. Therefore, Obama et al. are obviously not capitalist, but are likely socialist/Marxist and are gradually enacting their vision bit by bit. Marxism entails the abolition of private property, and in so far as Obama et al are increasing public ownership at the expense of private ownership of property, their actions are correctly considered Marxist even though the goal of complete elimination of private property has not (yet) been achieved. That said, it is possible that Obama is, strictly speaking, neither pure Marxist nor pure capitalist, but fascist.
