That is what I am racking my brain over… we know the media should be asking Obama if he knew (did he surpress it or help her get assistance illegally), why she was allowed to donate to his campaign (and so many others), etc.

But if you’re McCain, how do you touch this? In my mind, it’s a clear indictment of Obama’s lack of family values. Something that would connect with swing voters IMO.

This also may open a door not only into Obama’s donation scandals, but also a debate on immigration that has been missing over the last 6 months or so. We all know that is treacherous waters for McCain.

1 thing is important though, the light needs to be on Barack, and not his Aunt right now. Leave her alone and let the authorities handle her.

This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango’s case.

She was ordered to leave the country by a judge four years ago and is illegally violating that court order. She is illegally receiving public assistance (public housing, if not more), She illegally donated to the Obama campaign. We don’t know if she illegally registered or illegally voted yet.

McCain can say he is for upholding the law. Although he is for a comprehensive immigration reform, he is not in favor of simply ignoring all immigration laws and giving welfare benefits to illegals.Esppecially those who have been ordered out of the country.

He could also mention that Obama, being fairly wealthy, won’t even help his own family members, but rather expects the American taxpayers to do it for him.

McCain will probably not even mention this. Four days left, running out of money and he is starting to run global warming commercials.

Not like this is some “Wild unconfirmed rumor.” They can’t dismiss this one as “just some Right-Wing blog rumor-mongers” this is AP:Obama Aunt Illegal a vetted story. So, can’t demagogue it, there solution is (of course) ignore it!

It’s impossible to get into as a citizen unless you are on a priority list by having a letter from a homeless or domestic violence shelter.

See if she requested an Absentee ballot. Absentee voters lists are available, I’ve pulled them for Political mailings during my campaigns.

If she’d requested an Absentee ballot is not 100% proof she voted, Illegally, but it is a pretty good indicator. [Those in denial - Why would someone request to receive the ballot if not intending to use it?!?!] Not that her vote is probably needed in the area she lives. This issue is, of course, a much bigger issue in Districts/Regions/States that only a few 100 or few 1,000 can sway/steal away the vote from the legitimate voters of a District, but allows the point to be highlighted.

The Fraud is out there. People have to be purposefully looking to dismiss it now because it suits their ideology to do so. They will continue to poster-child disinfranchisment trumped-up cases, that phony (not that I don’t think it can’t and may not “occasionally” happen in some remote areas, but ‘get real’) narrative keeps them going.

Incidentally, how many nuggets like this would be unearthed during a disastrous four-year reign of Obama terror? The media’s primary concern apparently is who “leaked” (!) this story rather than the actual substance of why this exposes Obama as a two-bit hypocrite and a serial liar. I once thought it would be very difficult to vote for McCain. As it is, it will be surprisingly easy.
