There are three or four absolutely fascinating (and somewhat mysterious) phenomena in nature that basically no one understands; 1/f noise is one of them….

Which is why governmental policy should wait until each of those five questions are quantified, and I don’t mean by the IPCC or Al Gore, I mean by hard-core, unbiased, responsible human beings who see no political advantage is answering these questions prematurely.
