I'm not commenting on John McCain the war patriot. I have the utmost respect for him, being a fellow vet.

I'm commenting on McLooser, who ran a half-canned campaign.

I can differentiate between the two.

I also started calling him McLooser after I heard his concession speech. It was a sum up of his loosing run. I also don’t see too many conservative values in him. Please point them out for me.
When he named Sarah Palin his running mate, I thought he was on the right track. He then started to stifle her, listened to what others were saying about her, and hid her. She didn't give to many interviews because she was stopped by the campaign. She was too conservative for him, I guesse. I say a big mistake.

And I don’t think calling someone a name that they’ve earned a snide remark. If it's unbecoming, then all right, call me unbecoming.

more groveling before Democrats, more apologies for being alive, more cowering before a mindless, half insane media [think of Gail Collins], more sniveling, poor copy cat, lame imitations of the party that will continue to thrash us in the absence of both spine and principle.
The Democrats at least are guided by their lust for power and a passionate desire to cause misery, it’s a program of sorts.

on board with the Jindal/Palin or Palin/Jindal ticket. Probably Palin as Pres for the simple reason that she has now been through the grinder once and knows what to expect and would also know how to handle (or not handle) a VP candidate.

Beware the 4 years of smearing Palin and be wary of "conservatives" who rise up to oppose her. We can't afford another 3 way split of the conservative vote. We need to settle on Palin or Jindal early.

If Palin does her homework she needs to be the face of the party hands down. You can't teach charisma. She has all the natural gifts she just needs to learn the plays. If conservatives allow her to be butchered by the RINO's and New World Order moderates on both sides we'll be getting another crappy RINO in conservative clothing.

There is the mistaken belief that the Republican Party needs to moderate to win. In fact, we had a (highly) moderate candidate this election and the actual conservatives stayed home or wrote in someone.

As the Republican Party becomes more moderate, it becomes indistinguishable from the Democratic Party. We're getting closer every day.

….because McCain knew without Sarah Palin, we could have potentially seen a Ronald Reagan-like landslide win for Barack Obama. Plus, disagree with him on the issues if you would like, but I don’t think he’s a backstabber.
I agree with what someone else said earlier, anonymous means you’re a coward. If you think you have the answers for the Republicans, then speak up.
Personally, I think it’s someone who got ousted this time aroud; maybe John Sununu, Gordon Smith, maybe even Ted Stevens.

Hall & Oates are an under-rated musical group. Their song "Out of Touch" comes to mind with senator anon. He's out of touch, & out of time.

I wonder where he's been? He certainly is not talking about our leadership, which here to fore has embraced big government. Is he talking about those of us pesky ones in the base?

I believe sen. anon. sees the writing on the wall. The embrace of big government & fiscal recklessness cost us control of the House, Senate, & White House from 06-08. His or her embrace of this is the problem, & the solution will be Republican leaders emerging who are bold-color conservatives, those who embrace our winning & right platform of limited government, fiscal responsibility, strong national security, & conservative social values. Sen. anon. & others like him will lose power in the party. It pains me to see those who would rather lead a weak minority than be part of a strong majority.
