told another kid that McCain would win California because of the landslide support of Prop 8.

For what polls are worth, last I checked, Prop 8 was down by slightly over the MOE.

I turned and told the kid, unsolicited, "No, he won't."

Oh, damfino, damfino, damfino.

If McCain wins California, I might convert to Catholicism, join religious life as a monk, and lead a quiet life of contemplative prayer.

I’ve seen this posted around here and have listened to it. Now it sounds too good to be true. Is there any way of knowing how likely this really is? If McCain really is that close in California then this election will be a landside.
