FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace chats with surrogates: Virginia Governor Tim Kaine for Obama and former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge for McCain.
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos chats with former GE boss Jack Welch; Lindsey Graham; and former Clinton (Bill) aide Rahm Emanuel of Chicago.
Meet the Press (NBC): Moderator Tom Brokaw will grill Republican Presidential nominee John McCain.
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer will talk to economic surrogates Doug Holtz-Eakin for McCain and Robert Rubin for Obama; and Ed Rendell and Tim Pawlenty, two gubernatorial surrogates.
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer will have surrogates galor: Evan Bayh, Jon Kyle, that Wasserman-Schultz and her incantations, and Heather Wilson.

NBC’s Meet the Press, even with the erratic Brokaw, was back on top of the stack last week, and this is another opportunity for McCain to be heard.
We get to hear Tom Ridge assert the gravity of the mistake he believes McCain made by not selecting him as his running mate.
And Rahm Emanuel might gleefully trumpet that he doesn’t even have to run conservatives as Dems to win this season.
The media’s polling and editorializing/reporting is starting to get to people.

Why aren’t they on every Sunday morning show touting the McCain/Palin ticket to moderate and undecided voters? Heather Wilson and Lindsey Gramham establishment Republicans who only appeal to people who are already going to vote for McCain. Sometimes I think the people running the McCain campaign are either clueless or deliberately trying to lose, because nearly everything they do is about solidifying the base, while ignoring or alienating the moderates and undecided voters that McCain needs to win. And the last thing McCain needs is Doug Holtz-Eakin talking about the economic crisis for 30 minutes. I don’t get it. I just don’t understand what McCain’s people are thinking.

I am a common citizen in the middle income bracket. There are thousands like me. Tell Mr. McCain and Mrs. Palin to SPELL IT OUT! Under Obama’s plan there will be absolutely no incentive for any small business to succeed past the quarter million dollar mark. Their taxes will increase to 30/35%. Growth stops! Instead of using “spread the wealth around” say “spread your hard earned income around.” Tell people how Obama wants Big Daddy government to pool their money and let his government decide who gets it. This is important. Every small business wants to succeed but why? In addition, if large business’s get a tax increase they will simply add that cost to our goods. Do you want to win? Listen to this reason. Thanks!
