House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has accomplished nothing positive in her tenure on top, is perhaps stewing over her ineptitude, looking for something… anything.

They asked her why her Congress has failed to pass a single spending bill.

Pelosi shot back in unusually personal terms.

“You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject,” Pelosi replied. She then tsk-tsked Bush for “challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again.”

Nancy, his tax cuts helped to give us years of solid growth and prosperity, the slowdown which just happened to occur when the Democrats took control of Congress notwithstanding. Our country has not been attacked since September 11, 2001. Finally, at long last, stability is coming to an Iraq which President Bush helped to liberate.

Nancy and her boyz have accomplished nothing of import.

But Harry Reid chimed in:

“Who would be afraid of him?” Reid, D-Nev., said as many senators looked on. “He’s got a 29% approval rating.”

An AP-Ipsos survey puts the President at 28%. The same organization has Nancy & Harry (Congress) at 18%.

As unafraid as you are Harry, you’re keeping his boots rather clean with your tongue.

Bluster is such fun, coming from these two proud people who have turned out to be political munchkins.
