Now I have a unique disability in that I have difficulty with the pronunciation of names. So I thank Mark for adding this nice little hint so that my reading is smoother. Otherwise, between the above admitted handicap and a touch of OCD I could be tripping up on that name for a considerable length of time as my mind tried souffle, aloof, or loofah.

Puff is probably the best choice as the use may be doubly informative in signifying a favorite pastime of so many “progressives”.

Now Mark could have used buff although not as apt given the comment about the Plouffe’s diminished looks and need to improve his diet. Maybe scruff or rough would work. Now I think fluff is more appropriate as if also describes Obama’s resume as in is a piece of fluff. Fluff also describes many of Obama’s statements as of late when he can’t remember his past contradictory past statements.
