I know this might might seem crazy but as recall there is not love lost beteewn Nan and our esteemed Sec. of Statebecause there is lot Jeaulouly and didnt Nan jump on the Obama band wagon fairly early i cant seemed to remember night everybody

Obama realizes by now that Pelosi isn’t the Speaker who’s going to get him to the Super Bowl (not that anyone really could….) But there is an able replacement waiting in the wings, and one who loathes Pelosi probably more than a lot of us do. Pelosi’s first action when the Dems regained control of the House was an unsuccessful attempt to dump her Majority Whip, Steny Hoyer, in favor of the ethically challenged John Murtha. That was the first clue that this lady is just a petty little control freak,without any vision or major goals other than paying back her union friends…and looking out for the greenies, of course.

In that vein, Obama sees himself as some kind of visionary, and looks forward. Pelosi is driven by Cheney-derangement-syndrome, carrying grudges and looking backward. My guess is that Obama is pissed that she’s derailed his grand schemes, and he figures that your first markdown may be your cheapest one. He’d probably love to get rid of her, at this point.

In short, it’s center–left vs. wacky-enviro-left; just sit back and enjoy.

Pelosi has no enemy like the one at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. He’s already bypassing Congress with administrative orders and mandates. High on his list of “institutions to make irrelevant” is the Congress.

How long will it take Madame Speaker to figure that one out?

She can’t take the glare of inspection

But if we’re speculating, I bet Pat Buchanan is right — Obama doesn’t want a piece of CENTCOM. The net result of Pelosi’s crucifixion will be that enhanced interrogation policy will stand, with cosmetic modifications to give the ultra-left an excuse to make believe they haven’t been dogged–yet again!–by the Big O.

To torture or not is the question,
But Nancy has got a suggestion:
“Let’s play it both ways,
And see how it lays”
This woman gives me indigestion.

I’d be staying as far away from Pelosi as I possibly could right now. If he were to say something supportive, he’d be (rightly, in my mind) attacked for defending someone who has apparently turned a blind eye to torture. If he were to say something negative, on the other hand, he could make enemies in the senate.

Then again, if I were President Obama, I’d have been running on a Republican ticket.
