God bless the new president and John Mccain

It was a good fight

Obama was not my choice, and I’m still skeptical about his ability to deliver on his promises. But he is the president now, and I wish him luck.

John Mccain is a true hero. His concession speech revealed as much.

John Mccain down by around 800 votes in Indiana with 1% of preccint reporting? (Is this a good sign?)

Let’s make it happen!

Only red states can save us now

vote my friends

Here in California, conservatives can only hope the red states (especially OH, VA and FL) will deliver once again. There’s nothing much we can do here. Our votes aren’t likely to make a difference.

But If YOU don’t vote to the last man, it’s game over. Commentators here love to ridicule the polls, but I can’t recall a recent election where the aggregate polls were proven totally wrong. I suppose it can happen. It all depends on you.

Right now, it’s 3 AM tuesday in California. My class today (I’m a graduate student) ends around 8 PM west coast time. You can choose what will happen at that moment.

(A) The 3 conservative stuents in the class, including me, retreat silently while the rest of the class celebrate the Obama victory in psychedelic fashion.

or

(B) “I said, If you’re not going to eat the chips and the drinks, can I take them home! Gosh, it’s just an election!”

Updates on early voting and other trends from potential Mccain states?

see title

I’m an Asian American living in California. I know for sure my state will vote for Obama (although support for prop 8 is strong).

If you are a resident in VA, PA, OH or other must win battleground states, please tell me – does Mccain actually have a chance in those places? Are you guys observing REAL last minute momentum for Mccain, or are you just giddy over dozens of your neighbors who decided to vote for him?

According to the LA Times, Mccain is down in Ohio by 9,10 points. Apparently Obama is beating him badly at the ‘ground game’. Meanwhile some posters here believe Mccain will win Ohio or Virginia by 2,3 points. What do you see in your states to warrant that kind of optimism?

Keep up the good work, friends. Mccain / Palin 08
