Dear RedState,

As much as I enjoy waking in the morning, reaching onto my nightstand for my impossible technoligical nightmare called a cell phone, punching a few touch keys and reading Eric’s Morning Briefing; however, I think I am done.

I can no longer stand the large moving graphic you have imposed over the document urging me to subscribe to Morning Briefing, with NO method to close the window. Oh, there is a [close] button, but it does not work.

Since the advertisement is displayed on every page on RedState and the ONLY method that someone can read Morning Briefing on a cell phone, iPad or other mini-electrical product is to subscribe or have someone forward you a copy of the email.

So enough is enough. Drop the adverisement to subscribe to something you most likely have already subscribed to and let us read the articles.

Now we see why Texas Ranger W.J. McDonald (op. cit.) was such a stalwart. He didn’t have to deal with floating popup ads back in the day.

The blogger formerly known as ‘Vladimir’.

I have to agree.

I don’t begrudge the ad itself so much. It’s easy enough to get rid of on my computer. However, on my Droid it is a royal pain.

Yep,

I lost my last cell phone... two or three months back.

And I decided not to replace it.
And I just quit talking to people who grab their ringing phone when I am in the middle of a conversation with them. I turn around and walk off.
I own a business.
A lot of these people are in sales or service industries.
I just don’t care anymore. If you don’t like what life brings on a cell phone… ditch it.
Just one less thing to annoy you… a hundred times a day.

Agreed. the ad is a pain on iPhone too (n/t)

I was hoping for another “goodbye cruel world” thread.
