People who make threats or clearly imply them should be investigated. Where there is a locus of threats, that too should be investigated. Ignoring the Bayesian statistics that are so intuitive to anyone with a shred of common sense is a foolish indulgence of the Left, made possible only by the relative security that has be won on their behalf through the blood of others.

It is every bit as foreign and dangerous as those ideologies were; probably more so.

There is no reason whatsoever why America should have tolerance for those who believe in violent jihad or who advocate replacing our constitution with sharia law. There is no difference between those things and yelling fire in a crowded theater or inciting people to riot. So when an imam in some mosque gets started pouring rhetorical poison into the ears of his followers, he needs to be arrested on the spot and, preferably, deported.

warning signs have to be taken seriously. I still firmly believe that almost all Muslims strive to coexist peacefully with us; however, some caution must be exercised when the signs point to treasonous or violent behavior and that goes with all extremists even the lone-wolf leftwingers. I was pointing out that a person who has bad intentions will show outward signs of intent to act upon them; to fore-go action in the name of PC, is costly as we have seen.

I do have no problem with addressing the issue with delicacy; however, to blatantly fore-go reporting ones intentions on the basis of fear of your job is just down right stupid and deadly.

…or racism or whatever other nanny-state bugaboo you want to term it as. The fact is, Muslims are the only group who engages in murder and mayhem as a function of their religious beliefs today. And while the militant atheist crowd usually enters the discussion at this point to declare that all faiths have their atrocities, I’d answer that as a matter of decree there is NO religion guilty of anywhere near the level of atrocity as that of Muslims.

That’s not bigotry; it’s fact.

And unless we recognize it and lean HARD on Muslims to reform their faith so as to make it possible for them to coexist with people of other religious beliefs, we will continue to be threatened by jihadists and we will continue to give ground to Muslims in a civilizational struggle that has been going on for 1400 years.

but witnessing her inability to cope with certain realities gives me pause. Especially when she denied me that stereotyping or profiling is a survival mechanism that’s ingrained in the psyche of the human being. We stereotype and profile because we have learned that certain behaviors, personalities or appearance that are shared among groups of individuals. Unfortunately, the human beings ability to decipher between prejudice and profiling is flawed and will not work every time, but the human being likens his profiles to survival and watching out for threats before they become apparent.

That said a group of individuals, races, genders and orientation are not immune to stereotypes, prejudice and profiling. Since this is not a uinique quality of animals period, no human being is above this mechanism. Only the weak or destined to be killed or worse will exert a lack of understanding of his surrounding threats.

That’s why a person carrying a concealed firearm has to act to oncoming threats long before they get within 20 feet, because if the assailant gets any closer then use of a handgun to protect yourself is precluded.

to do with people getting ahead in the military without question, like this turkey. I just sat in stunned amazement of her ability to turn off her own survival instincts to justify that this guy was allowed to say what he said. As she said and I quote, “This was just one crazy person that did this and it had nothing to do with his perverted islamic beliefs”

This is the mindset that caused this, if it walks like a duck quacks like a duck its a bluebird of happiness?
