Who in the Hell is OUR President?


Spending this weekend doing Obama’s 90 day review.  He is my employee, after all.  A month ago or so – in fairness to him – I urged a preliminary review using my kindergarten report card.   He was just a new president – it seemed a “kinder, gentler” way to review his nascent efforts.

I am done being nice. Done. I woke up this morning to see our – OUR? – president shaking hands and hamming it up with Hugo Chavez, America’s most vocal critic on this side of the Atlantic. This is the same man, who in recent years in speeches to leaders of other sworn enemies of our country has spoken gleefully, in fact – prayerfully – for America’s demise. Yep, Chavez is worthy of a little Obama chest bump. (And no, Janeane, that’s not racist – even overweight white guys like me will occasionally chest bump, too.) I know . . . I know – it will be said that the president was just being polite and cordial with Senor Chavez. It’s funny how that same sense of decorum and protocol didn’t scare the president’s recent encounters with Prime Minister Brown and President Sarkozy.

Anyway, I digress – back to his 90 day review.

Let’s see – how has our President done in handling our economy? Well, he’s managed to bloat the federal bureaucracy to a size never before seen in our republic’s history, to triple our country’s annual budget deficit and to burden my children’s grandchildren with such vast amounts of debt that it is distinctly possible that the American way of life, as we have known it, is but a mere dream to them. In the meantime, we have seen no significant improvement in our economy – hundreds of thousands of people are losing their jobs each month.

And, the scary thing is – Obama is just getting started. Cap & Trade will raise the cost of energy for all American families by thousands of dollars per year, but we will get the privilege of saying that we are producing less CO2, while the Chinese, Indians and the Russians produce as much as they want. I thought it was global warming – maybe, our president will make wind stop.

And, if the president doesn’t kill off long-term economic growth with America’s growing piles of debt, then we can look forward to any increases in our personal incomes being taxed away to support ever-growing entitlement programs for those who seemingly have had difficulty capitalizing communizing in our new green economy. From each according to their ability to pay and labor to each according to their need. Is it really any wonder that our president finds so much to smile about with Daniel Ortega?

As to foreign policy, the president has been nothing short of an abject failure. Now, I know . . . he went on his Apology Tour of Europe and everyone loved him. Why? Because from the moment he landed in London until he left Baghdad, the American president did nothing but prostrate America before one foreign leader after another – literally bowing to the Saudi King, while his press spokesman excused it as simply searching for a hand to shake. What?

Home for a week, lift travel restrictions with communist Cuba, and then off to Latin America to play buddy, buddy with socialist Chavez and stand mute during a nearly hour long tongue lashing from communist Ortega. Hard to think of Reagan at Reykjavik and Obama at Trinidad in the same breath, isn’t it?

Speaking of Cuba – our president declares a decision to make a decision about closing GITMO in one year – after all, it has to close – the Syrians, Cubans and Iranians will like us better if we do. And, after the decision to make a decision, the president sends Attorney General Eric Holder to GITMO to inspect the facility. Holder leaves calling it a “well run, professional facility” – hey, Mr. President, bet you wish you had seen the facility before signing those executive orders? Now, where do we go? How about we house those terrorists at the Washington Armory? I mean the president’s backyard is as good as mine, right?

The “Where is Hillary?” wallpaper is now the new bathroom craze in Bethesda. Word has it that Hillary has been spotted at the Starbucks in Old Town and in a cab on her way to Dulles – but those sightings are weeks old. Rumor has it she can be seen in the background of the president’s and Hugo Chavez’s book party in Trinidad the other day, with a multi-colored wig and holding a sign that said “John 3:16.” The sign was quickly covered up by the president’s advance team and Hillary was reportedly seen struggling with white-coated secret service personnel taking her from the party to an extended vacation on St. Kitt.

You know your administration is off to a rough start, when your choice for Administration Employee of the Quarter is either a tax cheat you appointed as Secretary of the Treasury, an Attorney General who managed to call all Americans “cowards” in his first significant departmental speech, or a Department of Homeland Security Secretary whose first major policy release is a memorandum describing how America’s greatest domestic threat is not al-qaeda sneaking across the border, but the right wing extremists who I attend church with – oops, that makes me one of them! Ah, who to choose? Late entry – the HHS nominee – no, he can’t make the awards dinner – otherwise occupied. Ok, Holder, you win.

Finally, as to the president’s claimed efforts at transparency and making his administration a government of the people – repeatedly broken promises to hold bills for five days of public review and presidential enemies lists seem to have eviscerated “better government” objectives. Combine that with the administration’s orchestrated use of major media outlets, courtesy of their morning talking points updates choreographed by Rahmbo, and you have a government which is reflective of nothing but the president’s emerging socialist agenda. The president’s town hall listening tour stopped in Istanbul, but apparently didn’t have a stop in middle America to hear the voices of millions of people who view the direction that this administration is heading as dangerous – perhaps if we change our names to be reminiscent of third world dictators, our reception will be more friendly.

Bottom line – our president is changing America and not for the better. The main stream media is still carrying his water, because his leftist agenda provides cover to every left-wing economic and foreign policy objective thought of in the last 50 years. Argue against his policies and we’re labeled racists or Congress seeks out ways to mute our voices. This is not the America I want, nor the America you should want, and the sooner we make that irrevocably known will be the day we rediscover the country we love. November, 2010 can not come fast enough.

Bush was treated absolutely horridly. The things the left said about them, the things they encouraged others to say via the MSM and all the Soros funded front groups set the standard for Obama’s presidency. Yet, all they can do is whine about people like me who pledged to treat this president exactly as he and the other Congressional Democrats treated Bush.

I’m not being fair, you know. The double standards are beyond sickening, they’re just downright stupid but we’re not allowed to say that because we might hurt their poor widdle feelings, even while it’s okay for them to call us worse than stupid.

Still, I want Obama’s failure. Heck, I want his personal failure, too, for the reason that if he fails both as president and personally, he’ll have to work really hard to ever be in a position again to hoodwink the American people. He’s too lazy to work that hard.

The President of the United States is a politician who garners the support of enough of the national electorate to serve as head on the executive branch of government according to the Constitution. As the head of the executive branch he is afforded certain, specific powers including things like Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, etc. His authority is INTENTIONALLY counter-balanced by the authorities granted to the legislative and judicial branches of government. The elected President is actually very legislatively weak and unable to accomplish much, if anything, if opposed by the other two branches of government. If he seeks to exceed the powers granted in the Constitution he should be vehemently opposed! One might say he should “fail”.

AND THAT’S IT, end of story.

Bad Ideas should FAIL

The President can do a lot within his Constitutionally granted authority that is still just a Bad Idea. Treating allies (Britains) with ham fisted gestures while giving dictators (Chavez) chest bumps…both are “allowed”, but not Good Ideas. Working twice as hard on building solid relationships with allies is a Good Idea. Creating alliances with dictators, while “allowed”, is a Bad Idea. Hold them accountable for their actions is a Good Idea. Spending time constantly castigating past Presidents, while allowed, is not only a Bad Idea, it’s childish and demeaning to the office. Apologizing for contrived wrongs is a Bad Idea. Spending a lot of time promoting what is good and noble about our nation would have been a Good Idea, but it was lost on this recent tour-de-I’m-sorry. Signing into law an unread, undebated $787B spending bill is “allowed”, but it was a Bad Idea. The list goes on… Lords86 points out many.

What if diplomacy works for this president? We can count Venezuela and Iran as allies? Do I want the Bad Ideas to FAIL?…absolutely, yes.

In the end, all we have on our side of the debate are facts and history.

but that was not the point of my post. While the Constittion is as close to a perfect political document, created by man, that exists it does not grant wisdom or temperance on individual office holders.

The real threat to this republic has never been the election of a demogogue. The threat is when that demogogue to supported by a supplicant legislature and judiciary that find that we have a Constitution that now says anything they want it to say.

The way his admin. is trying to take over free speech with the so-called fairness doctrine, taking over the internet, etc., really worries me about the direction in which this country is headed.
My fear is that they will institute an all out assault on all of our Constitutional rights before Nov of 2010 and by then, they will have screwed the census, given amnesty to all illegals, and handed out so many entitlements that they’ll have the votes they need regardless of what people with brains have to say about it.
After watching “The Obama Deception” on YouTube, it really makes you think about the powers that be and what direction this country is headed toward.
Obama has an agenda……and I think it’s just as bad, if not worse, than we perceive it to be.

I can’t wait for November 2010, and neither can you. Let’s see the birth certificate! Don’t stop suing until it is surrendered. If it says Obama wasn’t born in Hawaii or any other state, Biden is automatically president. THAT is the first step on the road back. Any port in a storm, as they say.

Yeah, I know Biden is a liberal, but at least he’s an AMERICAN liberal with on the job experience and not a Communist sympathizer who pals around with domestic terrorists.

The citizen via parent myth

I covered this ad nauseum in my blog at Newsbusters (regarding McCain’s eligibility for POTUS) with many references that I won’t bore you with here.

It is a popular myth that parents impart their natural citizenship to their children when those children are born over seas, they do not and the State department manual makes this clear.

Amendment XIV states thusly:

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.

The Supreme Court has ruled that this amendment defines US citizenship exclusively (‘all persons’) and specifically (‘born…in the US’ [or] ‘naturalized in the US’ [and] ‘subject to the jurisdiction…of the US’… ‘are citizens of the US’, period. No citizenship via parentage, bloodline, etc. because ‘all persons’ are citizens by virtue of the above alone and exclusively, or they are not citizens at all.

Now if it were shown that Obama were NOT in fact born in the US (i.e. Kenya), then the Constitution says he is EITHER a ‘naturalized citizen’ OR he is an undocumented alien living in the US under false pretenses.

Only a natural born citizen (i.e. not a naturalized citizen or an alien) can qualify and lawfully obtain the office of President of the US.

The Real OBAMA

I believe Obama is a communist and here’s why:

1.Obama wants to seize the banks and nationalize them.

2. Obama wants to ban religion in the U.S. Just look at his comment about the United States not being a christian nation!

3. Obama wants to limit your freedom of speech. Just disagree with him once and you might end up onthe terror watch list!

4. I believe Barack Obama hates the military! Just look at the fact what his homeland security chiefJanet Napolitano did in the now famous memo about our vets!

I am very angry that Janet Napolitano could write such a thing about our military vets ! Also use homeland security to monitor the American people’s movements and use warrantless wire taps.

I believe that Barack Obama wants to have one party rule just like his good friend Hugo Chavez!

5. Barack Obama and Eric Holder want to take away your second amendment rights !

6.Barack Obama wants to weaken the defense of the United States by:

a. Getting rid of all our nuclear weapons!
b. Getting rid of the missile defense sheild!
c. Getting rid of new necessary military equipment!
d. Closing Gitmo and release some of the less dangerous military detainees into your neighborhoods and give the some money!

7. Barack Obama must have cabin fever because he has traveled plenty in his first 100 days and isn’t very interested in assembeling his cabinet and running the country!

8. Barack Obama apologizing over seas makes us look weak in the eyes of the world ! Obama would rather be liked and is worried about his image! Obama is self centered and egotistical!

9. Obama is going to tax us greatly!

With House Bills 875 and 759 (in the name of food safety) Obama wants to control ALL food production and distribution (you really won’t even be allowed a backyard garden, except if licensed and taxed on the food that they allow you to grow or the seeds you can purchase – no saving seeds allowed) while venturing deeply into your Fourth Amendment Rights regarding warrantless search.

And they are now talking about getting around that Second Amendment thing by force of International Treaty……. since they can’t get the Second repealed.

He also wants to limit the Internet… all for our own protection of course

So with his plans fully implemented, he’ll have at least operational control of heath, finances, food, communication, arms, and energy. I think I’m beginning to see a pattern here.

Will I be allowed to keep my tent?
