My Statement: BHO ( for whatever reasons), was voted into office. Some of our worst fears have been realized. We knew he was arrogant, not forthcoming with the truth and weaned on Saul Alinsky.  ACORN & MoveOn.org, the unions, etc now more powerful, than ever. Being more or less resigned to this fact & that our so-called press/media is over 87% ” in bed”, with this party & this man , I am bracing for the worst. However, the remark at the dinner that ” on the 73rd day, I will rest” —-made me realize that all this adulation and fawning has given him 2 paths. He could be humble & serving or realize no-one will stop his quest for control and power over our lives, ( aided & abetted by this media & other far left voices.

My questions: Your diaries are informative and many are worthy of national type coverage. Beyond the diaries, are you all  ”active” in working to preserve our Constitution  & the Bill Of Rights? Are you involved in government from local to federal levels? Have you joined grass root groups? Are you speaking out , when dispariging remarks come your way about anything from tea parties to “torture”?  Do you pass on infromation  having  others become involved? Do you speak with your children about the agenda of the schools? Will you make your voice known if the new Supreme Court Justice is nominated with a record of “activism”? Will you take time out to stuff envelopes, write letters or make phone calls? In other words, will you be active with both words & actions?

Glenn Beck has the 9-12 project. In our town, a local restaurant owner hosts the gatherings and they grow every month. Each time a person is contacted, they contact the people on theri mail list and from these other contacts ,new information is shared. Perhaps someone ( or you), can become involved in your community. Local radio shows allow call-ins , as well.

My fear is for the freedom of our country , jeopardized by  a slobbering press, a power hungry and arrogant White House and our ignorant populace, especially those citizens receiving their information from the comedians and celebrities –  the current “opium for the masses”.

Obama has his wish on the Volunteer Youth Corp.  The Congress is allowed to whip the public into a frenzy —-their target—Private Citizens, ala the Soviet Union ( AIG). Conservatives are branded as “Outside“ the mainstream by TV personalities, celebrities and teachers/professors. Mark Levin write a book ( Liberty & Tyranny), clearly reciting the “Assault on our Freedoms, Traditions & Values” – — has no air-time, that I can see.  The Congress & White House ram bills through that are neither read nor properly vetted vby the elected politicians or the so-called reporters. Barney Frank singles out a Supreme Court Justice ( Scalia) and forgoes all civility and once held decorum and name calls Justice Scalia—-no one is discussing this!!!!!! Of course, they all know they can get away with all of the above so we are back to chasing our tales.

Have we all given up? Once freedoms are handed over they will not return—remember “those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”.

The following article appeared recently in the Somers Summary. It is a very timely and thought-provoking item,and a lot can be learned from it.

In May of 1919 at Dusseldorf, Germany, the Allied Forces obtained a copy of some of the “Communist Rules for Revolution”. Nearly 50 years later, the Reds are still following them. After reading the list, stop after reading each item and think about the present day situation where you live —- and all around our nation. We quote from the Red rules:

C. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext, with a view to

     confiscating them and leaving the population helpless.

That was quite a list wasn’t it?  Now stop and think – how many of these rules are being carried out in this nation today? I don’t see how any thinking person can truthfully say that the Communists do not have any part in the chaos that is upsetting our nation. Or is it just one big coinnnnnncidence?

A. —teacher’s union , professores, Hollywood, celebrities—-they have done their job well.

B.—- The so-called Mainstream Media aided bu corrupt politicians. The Left is always ” grouping people” , trotting out ” victim’s groups”. Government is spending by printing money, with devastating consequences. A lenient attitude towards criminals, illegals and terrorists. Remeber the Bush bashing and the sestruction of Sarah Palin?

C.—–   in 2009, its tax the ammunition or use Mexico  and anything else they can think of to destroy the 2nd. Amendment.

My view is that we need to learn and understand that we have an enemy within , as well as terrorists and illegals that are destroying this country’s foundations and heritage. We can nit-pick newspaper articles, write about infighting of the Rep. party, make fun of the opposition but it does not address the above danger. Destroying the Constitution and our Bill of Rights–that is the danger——- that should be our focus.

We went to the restaurant designated in our city. There were about 250+ people. The owner explained that he feared card check & high taxes would shut down his establishment—-that is why he opened it up with a big screen TV & food .

The second part of Glenn’s point was that we need to return to the September 12th mentality. Not 9-10, when we were unaware/ignorant. Not 9-11, when we were in shock & afraid. On 9-12 we were one country. We knew what to do and forged ahead, aware and determined.

So, I will simply ask if anyone saw the above mentioned program today? I watch it while holding my nose— yet, it is interesting to see the far left ( lady from Salon.com), spin this episode with Rush.

I could actually laugh except when I think of the success they are having in using Rush to deflect from the serious issues, like the falling market or the elevation of the Paestinians ( yet again), giving them money because  bad Istrael attacked. Talk about revisionism.

Our leaders ( at the moment) do not strike me as the brightest bulbs in the box but even they have to realize the trap of “in-fighting”. How about a UNITED FRONT, politicians and/or leaders?

The 14 year old,( cannot rmember his name), who spoke at the same forum as Rush, was on Huckabee, over the weekend. This is the future of the party. Smart, articulate, understanding of facts ( that have escaped our own politicians  and straight to the point.

He had 4 points, actually. Less government, cherish life, liberty & protection of our land. He articulated these in a more intellignet manner, than my recall.

We need many more of these future young leaders!!!!!!

Let’s brainstorm how we can preserve the Constitution and The Bill of Rights. There are many intellectuals out there —-toss ideas!!!!

How about calling the White House and asking BHO to stop the fearmongering on the Economy?

Let’s be pro-active on behalf of our children, whether it is in school, college or the corrupt culture, lead by arrogant celebrities.

There are many topics of conversation , at the moment. Personally, I believe, at the top is the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

 I am calling the White House, now. Then, my Senators and Congressmen. I will write letters to my local school, ( stating my concerns of revisionist history, anti-religion and not acknowledging our Founding Fathers, as a start.

Return to subject. Immelt (spelling?) is going to work for BHO? Am reminded of Bernie Goldberg’s words, ( recommend his book ” A Slobbering Love Affair”).  He  states that in theory there is a firewall between corporate offices and journalists but with the media so openly in the tank for BHO, how can the public know if a story is being influenced by the “boss” ? Is there a hidden agenda? Is the W.H. influencing a report?

Mr Goldberg brings up the point that the media attached itself to the word “change”, during the campaign. Did  any of us know what that meant?  He adds that the media, particularily the stations owned by GE ,did not question that term but instead latched on , promoted it and in part won the election, using this word. How do these journalists, now, do their job without  the “conflict of interest” question coming to the fore.

Sadly, I think that Mr Goldberg misses the fact that our ignorant, celebrity influenced and union weaned populace ( that brought BHO into the White House), already swallowed the kool-aid & will not question any actions on BHO’s part, any further. He seems optimistic the public will catch on.

 Passed a bank. Wondered if it is  part of the bail-out. Wondered if those $ are funding neferious activities by going to Moveon.org or so many other places/ persons  that Michele Maulkin has tracked & named.

Think about MSNBC. It is so openly in the tank —(Mr Goldberg states), no-one wonders but what about the other stations owned by GE? Again, I cannot be sure the MSNBC watchers are that savvy.

  Then, there is the question of GE’s stock price. Does not seem to be that Mr. Immelt has such great business acummen.

Arrived at work, with all this buzzing only to listen to the liberals touting the ” change” ??????? It was a long day.

Clinton’s picks withdrew when they failed to pay taxes or had illegals as employees. Have times changed so much that now Dems are excused no matter what?

 A Congressman has $ in the freezer. Another  ( Frank ) seems to have some fault in the banking distaster. Cannot remember all of Rangles’ issues with homes/taxes or those of Governor Richardson. The aspiring Minn. Senator has ballots pop up  in his favor. Where is the outcry from both media and the public to investigate, at  the least? 

  Reps are required to resign right away and/or are brought to justice. Fine. There is still the cry “ail Bush and Cheney”,( for what exactly) ?  I’d like to see Kucinich  rise to the floor and  relate the Dems’ behavior and ask for consequences. Where there cries from the left for Clinton to pay for his misdeeds?  No, it was not just about a private indiscetion.

If there is no outcry, BHO will become more powerful,( the Dems in Congress more bold) — more able  to attack business men, while not ever mentioning all the politicians, their votes and  behavior , which are just as cupable, to our present economic and security woes. Let’s demand the same standards for all politicians!!!

Yes, the vote yesterday was important and kudos to the Reps for holding the line. What concerns me is the onslaught on Fox News and the radio hosts ( particularily, Limbaugh & Hannity), from all sides (TV, movies, so-called press, comedy show hosts and most ominous  — the current President  along side his minions in the Congress. The chorus these last 2 years has been more frequent and  continually louder. It is troubling that “news comenntators” play a role while , at the same time, regurgitating the “party line”, with sickening adoration, no less. In the Old Soviet Union, these “dissindents”, ( and make no mistake that is what they are), were taken in the dead of night. The immediate threat now, is to silence their voices, remove our information and dialogue. Sound familiar? There are still persons alive , who experienced this either under Hitler and Stalin. At first, they did not go to the Gulags or Camps  — it was intimidation & being silenced. Rile up the people with the constant drone of “you are victims”. Now, the boogie men are the Conservatives/Traditionalists.

What happens ,as discussed a few days ago, if the internet is censored? We need to hold the corrupt press, ( in all forms from TV to print) accountable   — they have taken the Founding Father’s concept of “freedom of the press” and used it to further their political gains and power.
