As for transferring technology, I say to give them Al Gore and his damned hockey stick. We’ll throw in his enormous gas-guzzling houseboat for free. Or perhaps we can ship them our clean coal technology that we won’t be using since Obama and Sheriff Joe won’t allow it. At the rate the Dems are killing our economy and present technology, it will be the United States of America that should be on the receiving end of the benefits here.

I mean we would have to make “full” payment not just in coin but in “transfer” of technology. And developing countries are to take measures to “mitigate climate change”. I forgot that our planet is supposed to have an unchanging climate.

However, the political danger is that the President’s signing this treaty will embolden the Democratic majority to enact many of these provisions by legislation – and especially if they do it piecemeal, we may not see what’s going on and refuse to arouse significant opposition.

And many of these provisions will be difficult to reverse even if the R’s somedown gain control of the legislature because it will be a stealth usurption.
