on the new diary screen isn’t worded harshly enough…..it’s a shame that the mods have to go to extremes just to enforce a policy.

Lisa, I know you really wanted to share this but when short diaries are posted, longer, researched diaries drop off the front page and the hard work is for the most part gone (unless it was highly recommended).

I did a few short ones myself and then learned that this isn’t the place for them. I now post elsewhere when I feel the need, as I’m not a researcher or active enough to be a diarist. I comment and recommend instead.
