I think it’s a term coined at RS. I think it’s someone that appears with conservative intentions but really isn’t or is just here to cause problems sort of under disguise. I’m not 100% sure though, just to give an answer since I saw your question. It’s not a good thing. Sometimes people are accused of being a moby but they aren’t but usually they are. It’s not a good label I know that for sure.

If McCaine is the best that the Repubs can come up with,or Scossafava, then there is no Republican party.If it hadn’t been for Palin,McCaine would have had no stance at all! She woke up the people,gave them hope,and made them believe in politicians at least until they started telling her what to say.They should have had her do all the talking,She should have been the presidential electorate.McCaine is so middle that he is unnecessary!He is for gay rights,immigration,abortion,and apparently big government.He doesn’t have a clue what the Republicans want, for that matter neither do most of the Republicans.They have gone completely away from what we want,and they don’t even know it!People,Obama is going to sign CapN Trade December 7th.-18th.,09! As much as I think socialized medicine is a disaster, anybody that thinks our current system is good is an idiot. CIGNA is AWFUL. We have had to fight them tooth and nail on every procedure. Their MO seems to be to stall and delay until you get tired or die. Sort of like a good angler.

this is about where the DOLLARS that good Republican Americans send to the RNC go to and if they are angry about the 900K to Sozzafava then I am quite sure they are ABSOLUTELY LIVID that it would go to support abortions!

The RNC has a duty to spend those dollars they receive from well intentioned donors to where they can win elections not KILL babies!

Boycot CIGNA is a good idea . Here is an almost unbelievable fact on that insurance co. My son-in-law is a physician who once worked there in their HMO. .. until he found out they pay Dr.s a bonus if they withold expensive tests! Now THAT is an excellent reason to boycot them, that is if you value your life.

God, how I wish I could vote Libertarian, and know it would mean something. Since I was old enough to vote, I was a student of American history, an advocate of Austrian Economics and limited government. So, I am by all counts a true Libertarian. The problem has always been, I had to pick the lesser taskmaster; that’s the one who would deliver only ten lashes (Rs) instead of 20 (Ds). I would rather be free of our government, and receive NO lashes. But alas, we have a two party system. And voting my true conscience would only water down the chances of getting the lesser taskmaster.

I have to put the question to you: What do you expect to happen in 2010? As a Libertarian who has had to move toward the center all my life, I think we, as first conservatives then Republicans, have a challenge ahead that without some compromise we will lose 2010 to even more Democrats. That thought is repulsive to me. Without a House majority we will be unable to silence Obama, and rid the House of Speaker Pelosi. I feel the answer is simple. We have got to soften up a little. If we cannot, our message will sound the same as it did a year ago. Do you honestly believe that hard-core conservatives can convince a majority of the voters, the same group who put Obama in office, to shift to the hard right and support staunch conservative candidates?

So we now learn the RNC is really Pro-Abortion. What a lark. All the press,hot air and sucking up to the so called Christian Conservatives when all along they are providing insurance to cover abortion. No wonder they want to dump conservatives and become MODERATES with their WIDE NET CASTING.
If this country doesn’t form a true party to represent theirviews there will be a One party system before you can even spell ABORTION.

Who’d a thunk the Democrats wouldn’t stoop to that in a pinch?

I am prolife and yet I pay for abortions … oops, I pay local taxes and our left-liberal local Govt officials fund it, against our will … and actually WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE of many involved.

I am not surprised the liberals are trying to smear/target the RNC over this … I am surprised that we have Redstate falling for it too though. This is likely a case of simple IGNORANCE, that whatever package they signed up for had those ‘benefits’ and it was signed on the dotted line. As such, while someone might need to chastised and the problem corrected, over-reacting is folly. Fix the problem and announce clearly that WHATEVER is in the RNC health insurance has zero bearing on ObamaCare.

Think first and get the data before jumping to conclusions. And dont let a phony ad hominem argument from the other side drive us.

Republicans used to represent the average conservative, but no more.

They backed NAFTA and GATT which caused our manufacturing to leave the country, and left a vast amount of people unemployed.

They backed illegal immigration, which caused us all to loose even more jobs, and caused us to have to pay for health care, schooling, welfare, and their crimes.

They continually allow H1B visas even though almost all engineers are laid off, as most of the jobs went overseas (after NAFTA and GATT).

When they were in the House, Senate and Presidency, did we see vouchers (so we can choose our child’s school) approved? NO!!!

Now they caused conservatives to pay for abortions which is abhorrent to conservatives.

Well, either the Republicans need to go back to square one and be leaders who support conservative values, or we need to get behind those who will.

Since the McLame debacle, I quit donating to the Republican Party. If I like a candidate for a given office I’ll send them a check directly. Why should I allow any proxy, whether GOP, UAW, or [fill in the blank] to determine where to spend my money, and what causes to support on my behalf?

This abortion incident just goes to show why my approach is the correct way for all of us to support the correct candidate.
