It’s a crime that Michael Caine and Steve Martin haven’t done a new movie together. Not a sequel, but a completely new adventure. I would break my own rule about not funding Hollywood to pay and see that movie in the theater.

I figure this is an open-thread matter: For those who missed my Stupid Flying EPU Tricks adventure 27 days ago, please read the link for the full report.

The short version is, I fell 14 feet, got a hairline fracture of my sacrum (part of the pelvic girdle), numerous and pretty substantial soft-tissue injuries, but avoided truly bad injury.

So the update: After day 10 I could walk without crutches, but just limping like an old dog. Now, at day 27, I can walk stairs just fine, I still limp but not bad. I can sleep better now, not good – still never quite get comfortable.

But I am not at a point I can put much weight on my right leg other than walking. Can’t jog, can’t do my kenpo karate with any substantial kicking or twisting much. Mornings suck, as everything is tightened up. Nowadays it is the injured lower right ab muscles and groin that are still healing and quite tender. Structurally, the bones are healing but still not fully capable of full support. Getting there, though.

Nevertheless, I’m doing rehab, and everything is on course. They told me I would not be fully healed for 8 weeks, and that I probably would not be truly “right”, as good as new, for 4-6 months.

They are insidious. They are reprehensible. They are vindictive. They are all that we find unpleasant in the human race. They are the Main Stream Media. You know them well for you have been subjected to their venom and ire with every word spewed forth from their cankered lips. How sad is it that through the demonstration of their past acts and deceit that nary a word from their mouth can be believed? How much more distressing is it when one confronts the reality that they are charged with disseminating what should be the truth to the public? The danger posed by this unsightly group not only prey upon the fortitude of the free thinker, but wear away at the foundation of the republic, grating the on cornerstone of freedom until all that is left is the cold void of ignorance thru deception…

A top economic advisor to Obama had a glum warning for the rest of us Thursday morning: Neither the job market nor the stock market will be turning around any time soon.

I was very sad to read this morning that Fred will be returning to acting, but I respect his decision, and wish him well with his endeavors. And, I know that Fred can walk and chew gum at the same time. I’m sure he will still work for the good of the Conservative movement.

This is too much. Hildabeast as Sec State (dont like) Geithner as Sec Tres (dont like even more) and now bailouts for anything thats moving. After the Saudi invested a ton in it yesterday. Let them ‘bail’ it out.

If we burned down Washington, off with their heads, everyone, do you think that would cause a rally on the market? I do. I posit it as the Silver Bullet.
