How is it ok for the RNC to produce a 9/11 tribute video explicitly created to pump up John McCain?

The video says “This is a war America will win and we’ll have a president who knows how… [convention cheers and applause]“

Was the tragedy of 9/11 a Republican event? Were only Republicans killed? Do only Republicans grieve?

I found this exploitation disgusting and shameful.

Believe it or not, I’m not here to pick a fight and I’m honestly, respectfully asking this question because I’m very very offended that the RNC used the footage of 9/11 in this way.

What is the difference between the RNC using footage of people jumping from the towers to push a candidate and anti-war groups using photos of flag-draped coffins to push a policy? Other than the gut reaction…

Olberman is grandstanding, he is not an objective voice and this is just another example. However, in this case he’s telling the truth even if it wasn’t his place to do so. You do not exploit the dead like this. It is not right in the case of the coffins and it wasn’t right here.

First they say Sarah Palin has not the experience to be Vice President. After her speech, they said she was an Ardent Washington inside. When Comparing Palin’s experience and Obama’s experience, he says he is not running against Palin, but against McCain. Obama wants his cake and eat it too. He wants to attack and attack, but when he loses the attack, he blows the whistle and calls “Time out.” Do you think he will be able to call time out if he is president, or say “No fair?” He can’t. Obamas lead staffer does not know which way to go right now, because he is totally confused. Palin is soooo good, he is all over the page with the Palin attacks, and everytime he attacks one way, she counters the other. They are vigorously attacking Palin, as is the Liberal Media and NBC, but when Palin defends herself, Obama calls foul. The real candidate of change is McCain. McCain took their slogan, and made it his own, because to Obama, it was just a slogan. Now the Dems are reeling because McCain’s Campaign is on fire, and he is making sense, and is offering change in the way Washington does business. McCain has connected with the American People, he knows our struggles, he is offering tax breaks, he is offering to decrease big Government. He has put the Obama campaign on notice…their time is limited. The Democrats are scared because in this last week, they have lost the election. The more the Democrats attack Sarah Palin, the greater the backlash will be. They talk about Mr. Palin’s DUI 22 years ago, but they avoid Obama’s Major illegal drug use 22 years ago. They attack Palin on her not having experience, but she runs the Largest state in the Union, has an $11 billion dollar budget, and has 15,000 people working under her. Obama has no where near that experience..what, working the last year on his campaign, but what has he done for the people of Chicago?? Got involved with a Criminal who helped him buy his Mansion…Before getting into Harvard, he met Khalid al Mansour, chief Advison to Prince Alwaleed of Saudia Arabia, and heir to that throne. Upon meeting him, Khalid was impressed, talked with Prince Alwaleed, and they gave him the money to attend Harvard, and he has been in Prince Alwaleed’s pocket ever since. He is in the pocket of a Prince who supports terrorism. 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia..Coincidence? I think not. For 20 years, Obama has attended a church where Rev. Wright preached hatred towards white people, put down our government, and has strong Anti semetic views. He said “God D*mn America” 3 times. He is a racist who wants to divide the races more, not bring them together. He drilled it into Obama’s head that America was the Problem, and that salvation lay in the middle east. Obama grew up a Muslim, went to Muslim elementary schools, and that has a major impact on a small boy. Despite all of this, one might be able to see your way through some of this stuff, but definitely not all of it. The kicker is this. Obama was the Chairman of an Organization that was founded by William AYER, an AMERICAN TERRORIST, who was never sorry for what he did. AYER, like WRIGHT, hates America, and was a TERRORIST of AMERICA. So instead of ostrasizing him, after prison the Democratic party embraced him, and brought him into mainstream Politics. What they were saying was hey, your a terrorist, and your reward is that you get to play with the big Politicians now. So Obama Embraces AYER, a TERRORIST, and becomes a Chairperson for this man, setting policy for Schools, students and teachers, using 49 million in state money. I don’t know about you all, but I want to know more about Obama and his bad dealings, but the Media won’t touch this stuff, because they have a stake in this race. So they will not do some investigative journalism and do their job in an unbias way..nooo, they won’t touch these issues of Obama, because that would lead to America getting to know who OBAMA REALLY IS, and AMERICA would not like him anymore. I want OReilley and Fox to expose Obama and his dealings with AYER, and find out exactly what OBAMA was doing with an unrepentent TERRORIST. I also want to know why OBAMA lied about his Colleg days at HARVARD..he said he used student loans to pay for college, which was not true…He received money from Prince Alwaleed of Saudi Arabia to pay for college, and now OBAMA owes him, and is in his pocket. I do not want a President that owes a foreign government who hates us. We need to find out more about OBAMA. Obama said that any news organization that looked into his dealings with AYER, that if he was elected, he would make sure those who broke the story about him and AYER would have no future in journalism. Threatening to take away our first amendment righs and our second Amendment rights is wrong. They want to get rid of the real media like Rush Limbaugh, OReilly, Ann Coulter, Hannity and colmbs, Fox news and some others that report what the liberal media does not. I am sick of NBC and others who have such a stake in this race, that they are no longer stories that are unbiased. They put in the opionion piece rather than letting the reader form their own opinion. There should be a law against it, as it is a conflict of interest. The Liberal Media is using Bad Judgement, just like Obama.
