American Exceptionalism & Renewal by Lady Libertas


Lady Libertas would like to to take today, Easter Sunday and a Holy Week for the Jews to reflect on American Exceptionalism and what it means to us in the weeks and months ahead.

There is no doubt that the past year has been a long one and alot of work.  The American People – tired of the expansion of overreach of the Federal Government with bailouts and policies causing taxpayer fatigue – came together in the past year under the Tea Party and other Conservative Activist banners like 912.

“Taxed Enough Already” is the modern day emanation of “Taxation with Representation”.  We are Americans first – we want limited government, lower taxes and the freedom of opportunity.  We like to wave flags, remember our Heritage as a Nation and honor Our Founders.

We believe that the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and Articles of Confederation are some of the most radical documents in the world.  We also believe that these documents have formed the base of the most Exceptional country in the world and they are as relevant today as when they were written.

Freedom is in our DNA.  Americans escaped the rule of a Tyrant to come to this dangerously beautiful land.

For we must consider that we shall be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us. So that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken, and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a by-word through the world.  John Winthrop, “City Upon a Hill” speech, 1630

Americans built one of the most unique political systems in the world.  We fought the Empire of Great Britain and survived a Revolution to win.  To Win and To Succeed and become a Beacon of Freedom for the entire world.

What then is the American, this new man?…He is an American, who, leaving behind him all his ancient prejudices and manners, receives new ones from the new mode of life he has embraced, the new government he obeys, and the new rank he holds. He has become an American by being received in the broad lap of our great Alma Mater. Here individuals of all races are melted into a new race of man, whose labors and posterity will one day cause great changes in the world. Americans are the western pilgrims. Americans have formed a culture that makes us Unique and identifiable as “American” everywhere we go.  The Values and Spirit upon which America were founded still hold firm today.

We are Americans not Socialists.  We have an American Work Ethic not a Socialist work ethic.

We are unique and NOT WILLING to be absorbed into the cattle call of Socialism.  Nor are we willing to have our  government violate the Will of the People to advance an agenda that undermines American values and the American way of life “for our own good”.

Freedom is the Freedom of Opportunity.  The opportunity to make what you will of your life and success to be as you define it and achieve it.

Freedom is not the government mandating a redistribution of wealth, introducing Socialist ideals and expanding government into every nook and cranny of the American people’s lives.

Today, we break bread with our families and friends.  We meditate on Renewal and Resurrection.  We rally because tomorrow is a New Day … Our Day.

Leave behind the accusations and lies of the past week.  Forge your anger into chains of determination.

We are Americans.  We are Exceptional.  We are here to take our country back.

Lady Libertas wishes all of you a Blessed Easter Sunday and Holy Week.  Hug your families tight – We fight for them!

We have liberated a world

The US has saved or liberated 2 billion since its inception.
We freed ourselves, liberating 2,500,000 from imperial Britain, in 1776.
Lincoln freed 3,940,000 slaves, 1863, and kept the nation one instead of the US of N. America and Confederacy of Southern States.
In emulation, Alexaner II of Russia freed his serfs c. 43,000,000.
The US liberated 10-12,000,000 slaves in S. Am., when we won the Spn-Am War, 1898. All other slaves held in Spanish lands were also freed.
Twice, Americans saved Europe: 368,000,000 in 1918 and 738,000,000 in 1945. Then we rebuilt Europe with the Marshall Plan.
We gave 72,000,000 Japanese dem. capitalism instead of theocratic dictatorship in 1945.
The US with the UN saved 3,000,000 S. Koreans from Northern communism (and today starvation by the N.) in 1952.
Reagan brought down the Eastern European communist bloc and USSR communism in 1989, for the release of 300,000,000 and 287,000,000.
In 1997, we saved c. 1.4 million Muslim Serbs from genocide.
In the Middle East, America rescued 21,000,000 Kuwaitis in 1991, and 22,000,000 Afghanistans in 2003 and 24,000,000 Iraqis in 2003.
We have poured trillions into Saudi Arabia for oil, virtually support Egypt, and spend millions on the Palestinians.
When the 2005 tsunami hit Indonesia (the world’s actual largest Muslim nation) and the Pacific Ocean, the ships and manpower that delivered aid and rescue were US military.
When the earthquake hit Haiti, we were first on the ground and again provided resue and supply services through the military.
Anyone who does not recognize that we accomplished all above and did not permanently occupy or colonize any of those nations that we freed is incapable of thought.
