but unfortunately it how the left is winning. We have to somehow learn to beat them at their own game while at the same time keeping our integrity. Am sorry to say, a daunting task.

I can keep a good poker face, go along, play their game & agree with everything at the moment. It was when it was all over and I had realized what I had done that I needed to take a Valium. And a little vodka. But not at the same time. If this experience helps conservatives get it together then this was worth all the freaking out I did on and off afterwards. And the vacillating about whether or not to let it hit the blogs.

I've spoken to many and recruited many to become precinct committeemen. They think going to a tea party is "being involved in politics." When I explain the idea of getting into the Republican Party, they have no idea what a precinct committeeman is. They have no idea, although I know it's obvious, that somehow somebody had to have elected the leaders of the Republican Party. When I ask them, "How did Michael Steele come to be the RNC Chairman, I get blank stares -- they've never considered it. When I explain to them that it's easy to become a PC, that HALF the slots are vacant, and that after one becomes one they can vote for the leadership and, possibly, vote to endorse conservative candidates in the primary elections, helping them win over a RINO, a light bulb goes off over their head. Well, sometimes.

The Party should be going to these tea parties and recruiting. But, of course, the incumbents are TERRIFIED of these "ruffians." That's why, with rare exceptions, they won't. The incumbents, even the Mike Pences and Tom Prices and Jim DeMints and Tom Coburns won't say a word about this to these conservative crowds.

So, I and others will keep trying to make contact with the leaders of the tea party and 9.12 and WeSurroundThem and other "patriot" groups and try to convince them to urge their members into the Republican Party as precinct committeemen.

Thank you.

are going to have to get seriously involved and committed in 2010 otherwise they are going to very disappointed. Somehow the enormity of what they are facing needs to be exposed and taken to heart. There are way too many newbies involved in the Tea Party effort and the possibility for detachment due to losses could be significant.

I don't think Conservatives have that level of SCUM in them. I know WE want to compete with these tools but WE would also like to reserve the RIGHT to be HUMAN as well. I am ready to FIGHT but in the field of ideas and NEVER on USE of the hearts & minds of American citizens. I think these stories NEED to be told so that Americans can see how DISGUSTING and TREACHEROUS and PATHETIC The Idiot and his minions are and how they SUCK the very life force out of hard working Americans but I don't want to fight their way I want to FIGHT our way!

Especially while reading this last chapter of Liberal Fascism, chapter 10. The revolutionaries really seek a world of constant change. This falls right in line with the need of the revolutionaries to effectively eat their own when they achieve power.

It is fascinating and disturbing at the same time, like watching a train wreck, or Faces Of Death.

The truly committed activist is never going to be satisfied and as soon as you set up your government, s/he will turn the same baleful glare on you that he had turned on your predecessor. So, you kill him.

Back in the late '80s we had a band of insurgent malcontents in our largest union, an independent employee association. The malcontents, self-styled freedom fighters against the entrenched power of the old guard, hooked up with a big national union and ultimately were able to decertify the local association and take over. At first, the national guys let the local malcontents stay in office and act important. We wouldn't collect dues for them and they had no money as the result, so they were totally dependent on the national for both expense money and staff salaries. Yet, the "revolutionaries" didn't get that they really were irrelevant. They came up and demanded an audience and my then-boss was stupid enough to give them one. Of course, they came in and huffed and puffed and told us how they were going to blow our house down. I got tired of listening and told them we had no intention of doing anything with them except the bare minimum of what the law required, that we weren't going to see them again except in formal negotiation sessions, and that we weren't going to involve them in anything because we were certain that the national organization would take over and send them all to the outer darkness within a few weeks. Of course, they told us how stupid we were and how we'd pay for not showing them the respect they deserved. Few weeks later, we get a letter signed by obviously not written by the president informing us that all the representation duties and all negotiations will be handled by the national staff which will then designate a bargaining team from the membership. Within six months NOT ONE of the orginal orgainizing group and founding officers had any position in the union and all power was in the hands of the DC office of the national union.

He often comes out and says "he is NOT doing X" but that is exactly what he is doing. He'll weasel out like "I do not want to run GM". Oh yeah he does. Obama the rock star knows whatever he says will be swallowed and worshipped. That'll slowly change as more catch on to the rock star behind the curtain and he'll become more isolated, defiant, and mean just like a spoiled washed up rock star.

It is good for generating interest and for pressuring the usually lily-livered politician types. It is much less good for winning elections so long as there is a decent turnout. What this stuff is really good for is running a below the radar, minimum winning coalition sort of campaign of the old Mat Reese style. You want an election to be boring and the general turnout to be low. That way, you have identified all your supporters and you work very hard by phone and email and such to make sure they vote while not doing anything to motivate anyone else to vote.

Since Republicans are usually "right" on the issues and normally will have a majority of the electorate, the Ds can't really say out loud what they stand for, so they have to run this sort of campaign. We need better organization and much better internal communication, but we don't need to do the same stuff the Ds do because we don't have to hide our candidates and issues. We just have to focus on responding to the slime machine, their way of suppressing our turnout, and on actually getting out the vote.
