Cap and Trade, nationalized health care, US Presidential support for ousted dictators, Iranians being gunned-down in the streets and the last quarter century’s best opportunity for hands-off regime-change slipping by the wayside for lack of international support (we’ll deal with the upcoming A-bombs later)….. all of those things are either trivial, or will be around for a long-long time and we can deal with the consequences some other time. Michael will probably only die ONCE….. and the world will never be the same again.

No one has repsonded. I put on Fox last night and it was pretty much more of the same. I have Comcast cable w/an On Demand feature. I spent what time I was home watching Rescue Me On Demand.

My mother is in a nursing home, I visited w/her from 7-10 Friday night and had to put C-SPAN on to hear what was going on, it was after the vote, but at least I got to see part of Boehner speaking. It’s hard to pay attention to her and television at same time.

Fox still has on Saturday lots of Jackson coverage, who really cares? Does anyone? He’s dead. We’re alive, we have to live.

I did switch to MSNBC to see if they had usual documentary on, but somoene compared Jackson death w/JFK in historical significance? Sorry I did not leave it on long enough to see who anchor was, did not care.

Damn that was a good movie, best flick I have seen in a few years.

I agree with Art, what’s he done since the 80′s that deserved the spotlight besides the scandals? Pretty much every cd after the 80′s was a flop, then all you heard from him was scandal this, weirdness that.

I pray for the family and his kids, I do feel sympathy for them, even some for Jacko because he wasn’t able to get his life back together before he died, but yesterday’s all night coverage was just too much for a guy that stopped being the “King of Pop” a long time ago.
