But the media is obviously failing our society in accurately identifying the enemy we face. I'll love it when we find out we did some damage and word in the blogoshere (<a href="http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2008/10/us_strike_in_syria_d.php">The Long War Journal</a>and <a href="http://www.myfoxspokane.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=7731766&version=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.4.1">AP</a> report that we took out a major Al Qaeda figure. You guys have done your job well, too well in fact. President GW Bush said at the onset of the War on Terror that he wants America to go on with life as usual, to visit the shopping malls, go to the movies, etc. Lo and behold, the job was so well done that despite fighting two wars, the homeland was so secured that very soon, we forgot that we are at war against enemies who would give up their lives flying airplanes into our building. In hindsight, maybe the President should not have asked the country to get on with life as usual.
