Texas GOP released a new web ad on Bill White’s entry into the Governor’s race.
Bill White will try to pretend to be a buisness friend, pro-growth, candidate, but it will be difficult for him to try to identify himself as none other than a liberal. He does come across as a moderate, but his positions for gay marriage, against tort reform in Texas, for government control of health care and anti-second admendment will be interesting for him to overcome.

I just cant wait for the Perry/Hutchinson primary to be other with, we need to save the cash, to go after Bill White now, before he redefines himself. Perry hopefully will come out positive, but at least this shows the Texas Republican Party will show Bill White what he is, before the long-drawn-out primary is concluded.

Kay Bailey Hutchison never should have entered the race. She should have asked Perry quietly if he’s running again, and then stepped aside.
My local Austin American-Statesman (granted, Austin is not Texas) has all but endorsed Bill White.

The Pension problem was know here in Harris County(yeah, like last year in an story from KHOU(CBS Affiliate here in Houston. If he didn’t start loving 287g lately, he would be a shoe in for the Donks nomination. Those rabid dog leftists love Sanctuary Cities.

You might have seen his name on a Hair Drier built in Houston. As for Bill White, he doesn’t really have name outside of the Donks either. He’s a known person in Houston, but try asking someone outside of Harris County about Bill White and they might say “Bill Who”. I think that our esteemed GOP Chairman here in Harris County(Jared Woodfill) is right when he said “Yesterday he was running Senate, Today he’s running for Governor, tomorrow, he’s running for Dog Catcher”. The Dems don’t really have much good chances in Texas. They tried the Self fund side in 2002 and that didn’t work.
Barry, you can go down to Downtown Austin and they say that the Dems have a great shot. It really doesn’t what their opinion is, since they have nutballs and fruitcakes. The Dems chances are as good as finding a person that’s not naked at hippy hollow. The papers run by Cox(Austin American Statesman) and those run by Hearst(San Antonio Express-News and the Houston Chronicle) will always endorse the the Donk.
