Internal polling and Wilson Research Polling show Republican David Harmer, only 6 points down Democratic Lt. Governor Garamendi in big blue CA-10. That is amazing this thing is even close, much less single digits. Garamendi may have to actually spend some $$$. We are so busy trying to screw-up NY-23, are we missing a good one in California?

SteveLA (Diary) Saturday, October 3rd at 4:19PM EST (link)Tough to win seats in CA that have been gerrymandered safe D or R and this is not really the inland part of the state that might swing R, this is North Bay area.
Throw in some Garamendi has good name recognition, going to be a hard get.

IJB Saturday, October 3rd at 4:34PM EST (link)The only way the GOP could win a district like CA-10 is if the turnout is astronomically low (i.e. *no* D’s show up). And even then, the D’s would just get it back by 2012, at the latest.
I mean, sure, I’d *like* to see it happen. But I’m just not expecting anything from it…
We don't need to win for this to be good for us
scarlos (Diary) Saturday, October 3rd at 4:46PM EST (link)a close election in a D + 11 district where the Democrat is the current lieutenant governor should send chills down the Dem’s spines.

It could just come down to turnout
