Leftist don’t like transparency in government – they don’t want the country to know what they are doing. Obama’s promise was purely populist sop to the mushy middle, and the left all knew that. Kind of like when a Democrat promises to honor the Second Amendment by protecting hunting. The left all knows that the promise is meaningless, but it gets some votes from a few ignoramuses in the middle.

Obama said during the campaign bills would be posted for all to see for 48 hours before voting. Any of the bills passed so far been up for 48 minutes before the vote yet??
